I went broke multiple times in life , and the older you get the worse it feels when that happens. The last time I went broke was Black Friday and I hustled my ass off to get back up and never turned back. Being broke was my motivation to be successful. Gl kid

Have already taken my GED and passed, I start my first online classes on the 12th.

I'm honest about my game, and know I have much to learn, although I also believe I am a winning player. I dropped from 5/5- 5/10 where I was a break even player my first year, to 1/2-1/3 and am now a small winning player at those stakes. I don't make enough to support myself with poker, which is why I focus heavily on managing my BR.

I also don't have housing costs at the moment. I am staying with a very good friend of mine who's allowing me to clean and take care of their house in exchange.

They also back me in BlackJack occasionally, which again has been a supplemental income for my poker.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees this.

Hourly wage seems like an arbitrary metric when determining success and failure.

Ok since no one else has said it I'm going to. The only reason these guys all of a sudden offering help and never to the other 1000's of guys who come in LVL with the same agenda is cause they are just trying to get into your paints. It will start off with offerings to start putting you in cash games or tournies, yada yada yada and then when you turn there sexual advance down they will make up rumors about you and so forth. Just saying.
