Aye, I wish I had more time to play those games. Mario Galaxy is probably more preferable of the two.

You see when people claim to be happy for somebody, are they lying, or can you genuinely feel happiness for others?

I'm not your psychiatrist.
With your history, if you said it, definitely a lie.

I'm not asking about me, I obviously know it would be a lie if I said it. Surely everybody else is lying too though right?

I think one can collect positive emotional nutrients from observing others, feeding a general sense of happiness.
Happiness is a personal position, though, and not connected in a linear fashion to others and their activities.
I cannot be "happy for you" any more than I can get a suntan for your pasty ass.
Finding joy in your successes/failures can supplement the happiness I have (cuz I'm a naturally happy mother****er).

Maybe I'm just envious of others and can't enjoy their success.

I get that feeling about my kid and my gf. I want them to be happy and successful.

I get happy when I see other people trip and fall over does that count?

Gonna lose two weeks a year. Will take me another 10 years if I stick with this mob for that long to get me to the point where I was right now

Being naturally happy doesn't come easily for everyone but I definitely recommend it. It pisses people off but who cares??? You're happy!!

Ok, that's a fair point. If I had a kid or a girlfriend it might be possible for me to feel happy for them. **** everybody else though.

This guy I know texted me asking what I think about him not having kids at his wedding. I said that was cool. I thought I was getting invited just from that text but he said no I wasn't invited. Then he asks me, "what have you done for me lately?"

I thought this guy and I were close. Dude owes me $50 too.

I had a brief feeling of being happy that this guy was getting married to his dream girl and I was going to share the day with him. Cus i thought he and were almost like 3rd or 4th best mates But... no... so confusing.

The $50 debt only happened just recently and I wonder if that had any impact on his decision not to invite me? We've been mates for like 10 years and gotten up to a bunch of shenanigans together.
