I have no idea how I became a Liverpool supporter. I've just always supported them as far as I remember. My father never supported a football team and I had no other family members that I can remember that pushed me towards Liverpool. I do remember in primary school at the time, late 80's/early 90's, like 75% of people where Liverpool supporters so I was probably just your average prepubescence glory hunter

The best bandwagon! Timing wasn't great given the league performances the last 24 years tho

The only time I went to Anfield was with a youth soccer club trip. Rush and Barnes both played iirc, loved Rush so much.

Also in Ireland soccer support is weird, it's the most followed sport but 99.99999% of people follow a premier league club rather than an irish league club, we take that **** seriously yo

aye, it's been a helluva drought.

I can name 4 or 5 Scottish league clubs but not a single Irish one. EPL has all the gloss, pretty sure in Australia more people watch the EPL more than our A-League too.

Wish I could have been at Anfield for the Tottenham game, atmosphere looked amazing!

he's really good. he writes action in a lot of American settings.

Shane Schofield, call sign Scarecrow, is his best character.

We have booked a tour a day for the next three days.
Today we go to "Tankah". It is a Mayan eco-tour.
We will do some jungle exploration, swim in a cenote (an underground lake with a skylight), kayak a river that goes through a cave system, see a local village and have lunch with some of the folks that live there.
Supposed to be relaxing and amazing.

Today is adventure park day.
We are going to a place called "Xplor".
I am bone tired and recovery seems unlikely.
Rain forecast from 10 - noon.
Still have a little excite.

Educational content!

There are still Mayan people. Mayan is still a viable language throughout the region. There are 13 dialects of Mayan.
The Mayans are tiny, which may go a long way to explaining the demise of such a sophisticated culture.
They look like 5th or 6th graders...barely 5' tall.
