Family life really seems to sucks

It has its plusses and minuses.
I'd say mine is pretty baller, most of the time.

Got mom back to work today.
She's ready.

Wifey was off work with knee surgery. I call her mom, so the kids know who to go see about their trivial stuff.
So, mom (Wifey) went back to work. She was ready (sick of hanging out with me all day).

The wee one destroyed her phone back in May. Set it on fire charging it with the wrong cord inserted upside down.
We decided not to get her a new one. She'd had some issues in school, and was gonna lose her electronics, so **** that phone.
She doubled down and got all the issues fixed (we are still amazed).
I pulled out my old phone (HTC evo 4g). It was still a pretty good phone, but it would only run KitKat. Got her number moved over, and she's back in the race.
She was pretty hard on it, but she was okay carrying a cool retro device.
I got an ad from best buy. It had the phone she wanted--LG G5-- for $49, two year contract. I told mom (the wife) I was go and go and get it on Monday.
I got another as from best buy. Get the phone for $49 on 2 year contract, get a free 32" LG TV.
You had to activate the phone at time of purchase to get the deal, so I told mom we would go to best buy after she and the wee got home.
Go to best buy...the phone is available for $1, on 2 year contract.
We didn't need a TV, but dammit, the phone AND TV for $50 as a sweet deal...
Phone guy enters the sale...we get the TV anyway!
New LG G5, flagship phone and 32" LG smart tv...tax and all...$1.07.

Think I'm gonna get a Note 7. No money down, $10/Mo, 24 months. $240 for an $800 phone. Plus, a free smart watch or 256GB micro SD and $30 off a new printer.

Never owned a Samsung phone before.
Have a Samsung tablet and smart TVs, so maybe there is a plus with integration.

Last new thing I got was an Amazon Fire tv stick. It was a pretty pointless buy really, since all I used it for is Netflix, and i already have plenty of ways to watch that. At £20 though, how can you not! And it saves having to turn on the ps4 to watch something.

I haven't tried the firestick.
I use Chromecast, or native "sharing" functionality of the smart tv/portable device.

So, word on the street is, take your Note 7 to the nearest Sprint (or whatever carrier you have) store.
1) You can exchange it for an S7 or an S7 edge, and they'll refund the difference.
2) You can get a full refund for the Note and any accessories (official Samsung parts).
3) You can leave your Note and get an S7 "loaner", until the new, non-exploding" Notes are delivered.

My guy ordered option 1 and a new option, Option #4.
4) "Just hang on to it until the replacement sets are in, maybe a couple of weeks. Keep an eye on it, though. If it get hot or something, unplug it and take it someplace where it won't burn down your house or your car".
