I think you'll be equally well served by Senegal or any large city in India. Lot of great starting points available for you to find what you're looking for real quick.

Thanks. I realize that when you do have freedome and therefore so many choices it becomes hard (and when you don't have choice you complain, go figure..).

I have many option :
- africa starting with senegal and see what I do next
- since my Burma visa ends before my Indian visa, start with Burma, then go back in India (but it annoys me a bit because when world travelling it's best to keep on moving to the same direction, so India and then Burma would be more logical)
- India from north (Delhi) to Goa to Kerala/Tamil Nadu ending in Pundicherry, then Sri Lanka and see after what I do
- South Africa, Reunion island, Madagascar, Mauritius, and see after what I do

As always with me, it all will be decided on the last moment, as I said I'm quite impulsive. I decided to go to the jungle in the amazon for 1 month in january this year all of a sudden, without any big thoughts, just like that clicking one night on the "book flight ticket".

Of course. That's only natural. But when I did I went out and experienced new places and met new people. Don't spend many nights in a hotel when you could be out having fun.

Something I'll keep in mind, thanks !

For the most part I will be sleeping in hostels. While I'm not afraid about being lonely (I go along quite well with myself ^^), I will mostly use hostels and CS. When really I want to be alone I'll use airbnb but others than that I will go where others people are.

The first page will be turned in 2 days since I'm gonna quit my appartement for good. Still packing all my stuff, but saturday all this nightmare will be over. Can't wait, never thought that moving could be such a nightmare.

I used to play poker quite a lot some years ago but in France all casinos have been shut down (except one which is lame) so I can't play no more.

I'm single.

Me too ! I wish I had done this 10 years ago actually. But I guess that it happens at the right moment regardless at how old you are when you do it.

Ah !

Like I said in the lattest article (http://psychoworldnication.com/2015/...my-appartment/), I've just sold my appartement for good 4 days ago and this was a mandatory requirement before leaving.

This week I will have all the banks propositions so that I will be able to pick up one for the world trip. From the moment I have picked a bank it will take up to 10 days to receive my visa cards.

I also have to divide my money into several accounts. I can't have 500 000€ in one sole bank account, this is foolish and unsecure.

All those elements considered, I think I should be leaving for the last week of this month (in 3 weeks).

Do you have any key points of interest (tourist kind of things) that you're gonna throw in there?
Angkor Wat, transiberian rail trip, pyramids, trekking in Nepal, the great Wall, etc?

Everything is possible. I leave all doors open.

Now, you have to know that I'm not going on vacation so I'm not gonna travel as a tourist wanting to see each monument/tourist attraction of every city/country. This is not the aim of the trip. The aim is to live another kind of life, with no schedule. Just live the experience and go with the flow. Of course, my road might cross the kind of things you mentioned, but if it happens it will be because it was on the road, not because I chose especially to go there.

How much money you plan to spend anually?

How big interest rate you got from your bank?

I assume you will brig some money with you on your debit cards or something and bigger chunk of 500k leave on some deposit account with some interest rate?

Seriously I don't know. I guess that 10 000€ is in the lower range area and 20 000€ in its upper side. Not exceeding 20k would be neat.

Well, actually I went to see 4 banks not about any interest rates which are all lame here, but to know how much in fees I would have to pay monthly to benefit from their offer allowing me not to have any bank fee when withdrawing at any ATMs abroad.

That's a real issue. I can't leave 500k on one sole account. It's dumb and unsecure here in Europe.

So I've been thinking to put some chunks in various saving accounts with low rates (1% roughly, a bit more for some others) and just leave 70k on two standard bank accounts.

You have no idea how of a pain in the ass it is to spread those 500k.

**** living on only $10k a year. But some of the areas in the world that's doable. Not sure why you want to rough it though with so much cash behind you.

You said somewhere between 10k and 20k.

In my opinion thinking about spending only 10k is crazy, though I know people who do it.

How do you handle all of the immigration details?
I'd guess a number of countries will let you in, as long as you don't have a bomb strapped to your chest. Some countries are gonna want a more detailed plan. Will you coordinate with your embassy, or are there services for "wanderers"?

Are you current on all of your thirdworld immunizations? You don't wanna get dengued.

yeah not having a bomb strapped to your chest is a solid starting point
