Today I worked a 10 hr shift doing manual labor. Got to ride a cool John Deer tractor. It was fun. Prob cost me money as could have made more most likely clicking buttons and stuff from the safety of my computer. Glad I did it though. Got some much needed sun and had some interesting talks with people as I went about it.

Ol' Fred
I told my ol' dog Fred one day
To take himself a holiday.
"You work real hard!" I said to he.
As he looked strangely back at me.
Then tears began swelling in his eyes
And I heard a kind of sob,
For he just felt like laying around -

Seriously though, they do freak me out and not due to lack of exposure or allergies or anything. Having grown up in a woodsy area, creepy crawly, flying and stingy things are all too familiar. It may have something to do with my earliest memory of them being stepping into a hornets next. I remember my foot dropping into a hole, pulling it out then watching them create an instant attack squadron all around me. Maybe age 5 or 6 and so so many stings.
Plus lots of spiders. Those damn spiders.
