Hi there,
I am new on this forum, I've read some regulations so I think I'm ready to write. So, who am I? I'm just a simple man who get an idea to write his thoughts, goals etc. As you can probably see my name is Jack, at this point I am 21 yo, I am stuDYING physics and the country of my origin is not America or England so I expect you to understand if I make some mistakes writing.

How does the idea started? It all started today when I concluded I need something to motivate me to play. By playing I obviously mean poker and all the stuff included, more later. I tried many things in my short life and I was imagining me doing all at once. I wanted to sell expensive stuff, to work as a astronaut, to build something big as a engineer but finally I realized that I grown up to know I have to focus on one of these ideas to master it or get it.

I grown up. I chose poker. I feel like poker is a game which is really for me. I like to have cards in my hands, I like to twist the chips and what's most important I like work if I can do it at home at any time. It is so comfortable, as every one of you know. In my small country located in Europe poker online is illegal. I was afraid of it but thanks to my friend I concluded this is the huge advantage. I'm not paying taxes, it's a "dead right" (Not sure if this works in English). By this I mean no one cares, no one pursues you if you do it or not. It works great for my country and for these few in it who earns a real money because of it. So well, I chose poker.

As you probably know already this is not my first attempt to poker. I must confess I lost much money. At least for me it is much. On the very begining my friend told me about texas holdem. I knew poker before but it was 5 card draw. I always associated poker with something bad where you lose a lot of money. But when you start play you also start to think different about it. So I got persuaded to play, I liked it. I was playing like freerolls on a casinos site. When I could not win any of these or the money was too low I decided to deposit the money. "Why not, there would be less fish, right Jack?". So I did and I lost my first 10$. It all changed to something bigger when I was playing more and I did not read other poker tutorials than these about rules. As you know this is not leading anywhere. When I lost like 100$ I felt like completely looser. "How could he won? He is total donk! I must deposite more". So I was depositing more and more and what is important I wasn't looking at BRM and the games I play. One day I could play like 2, 5, 11$ mtts with 25$ BR. The debts reaches 1000$. Insane.

I realized it is bad like a half years ago. I started to play only cashes once again thanks to my friend and his good advices. It was all f good until I felt to amazing and I returned to brainless gaming (11$ mtts after NL2 cashes, sick!). I lost everything again, what a pity.

Considering these reasons above I decided to play only cashes and I made some goals. 50$ starting BR, 25BI I move next stakes, so we start with 0,01/0,02$. In time we have:

Stakes [$], Bankroll [$], Date
0.01/0.02, 50, 15.07.2014
0.02/0.05, 125, 01.08
0.05/0.1, 250, 15.08
0.08/0.16, 400, 25.08.2014
0.1/0.25, 625, 05.09
0.25/0.5, 1.25k, 20.09
0.5/1, 2.5k, 05.10
1/2, 5k, 20.10
2/4, 10k, 05.11
3/6, 15k, 15.11
5/10, 25k, 25.11
10/20, 50k, 10.12
25/50, 125k, 05.01
50/100, 250k, 20.01
100/200, 500k, 05.01
200/400, 1kk, 20.01

It's a huge challenge, it is more like a dream but who does not want his dreams to came true? I will change the goals if I would not reach it. As long as I don't have a job and I am alive for my handheld I feel motivated enough to do it. So right now I need only self-discipline to make it happen. According to it every 15th of the specific month I'm going to make a withdraw of 10% of the bankroll to see any profits on my credit card (I have this one separated only for poker funds on some online wallet, I am not sure if I can tell which one, whatever). As you probably see I started the challenge so here is the chart of over 8000 hands:

As you can see at the begining I did not know exactly what I do but I obviously kind of become stabilized. I'm waiting for your opinions, mates.

I will post more if I feel a reason for it.

So what am I doing more in my life? Many things I want to master. I like jogging. I like to do it before poker session, it makes my mind focused. I like drawing, I am thinking about a YT channel where I show me drawing some stuff in fast motion, but this is really time-consuming. I'm also writing a book, like I have a good idea I think and my girlfriend motivates me to do it.

Good luck on the tables, mates!

Hi there. I'm going to show you the progress I made during these few days:

There is a huge variaton at the end but I'll try harder to walk through it and complete first step of my challenge. There are like 5 days left to make it happen. I'm playing 15 or more tables at once for 3 hours a day but I provide I have to play more time a day to make it happen. Here is another picture of todays gaming. For a first time in my career

So just for your information I'm not giving up. GL to you !
