Nope, I wouldn't be able get residence in Croatia without getting hired (and I hate working).

It was Serbia that I was considering, because afaik, it does provide residence to anyone who has bought real estate. Montenegro is also quite easy to get in - all it takes is setting up a fictional business But they're no longer in the cards because the time zone is suboptimal for online poker. And perhaps I'd be booted from there anyway after joining the EU.

I'm currently looking into such holes of the world as Paraguay, Nicaragua, maybe (temporarily) Bolivia, Fiji or Samoa, in order to get a better sleeping/grinding schedule while not spending a ton on the accomodation because no one knows how long online poker will be profitable and I yet need to secure my retirement.

Just move to Vegas when online poker is officially dead.

No thanks, I prefer Grodno (Belarus) as my terminal location (and doing nothing there) because, when online poker is dead, many regs will switch to live one and kill it fast too.
