I actually know several people who feel like this. But they all live in Boulder and have trust funds which makes it a lot easier. My advice is to get a trust fund.

Maybe part of your problem is that you felt the need to Resign from your place of Work instead of just quitting your job like a normal person.

You should just keep riding the whole "walking about town during the day" thing. Seems like there might be a good future in that.

This is a good point.

What's the difference between resignation and quitting?
07-10-2016 , 07:32 AM
I ask the universe and the spirit to bring about my passion in life. I am discovering my passion. I am responsible for my life.

You went the verbose route.

So it's the word he is hung up on?

Resigning provides advance notice (often in writing) while quitting involves not showing up and calling your boss saying that you're not working for him/her anymore.

The whole phrase is awkward. Nobody talks like that.
07-10-2016 , 09:13 AM
Plus, the random capitalization of "resigned" and "work" indicates a mindset that says "my life and my struggle is more important and has more meaning than other people's, woe is me, feel sorry for me!"

Same thing with conspiracy theory nutjobs who capitalize "truth".

But obviously you are wrong since I talk like that. What you mean is that no one else talks like that. I feel thats a bold claim since I doubt very much that you know for a fact that no one else talks like that. Obviously since the words exist it is then probably that other people talk like this. This is a very simple concept. I'm sorry you struggle with it

I care about people. I felt it was best to sit them down and face my responsibilities and get things out in the open about how I felt things where going. The other way you describe sounds like a person locked in fear.

Relax, they're just "funnin". (Full stop outside quotes is purposeful, I'm changing the world!) The difference in style is negligible and I speak that way as well. (Of course, I'm a hundred years old...)

Good luck finding that life you dream of, I think you will.

But it's not funny or constructive to the topic at hand.

Now, that's not a very "OOT" attitude, lol. You have to expect a little ribbing in here; (!) I believe the term is, "Know your audience".

Robin you've made this exact thread at least six times now. There are no funny or constructive topics left to discuss.

Go join a monastery or the Peace Corps(e).

To be fair there is a major difference in the fact that I've left the job now it really is up to me to start a new life with a new type of income.

What the ****? Does no one want to talk to me? Like what the ****. I wasn't even trolling. I was being honest and open. What is wrong with you people? Keep moving and deleting my threads.

Now I have two threads in house of blogs. Bunch of ******s.

You don't troll, but you tell everyone that whatever it is in your life is wrong but when you get suggestions you reject them. So, it's not like you are sincerely seeking advice. Therefore, it's more like a blog.
07-10-2016 , 12:40 PM
I do take the advice.
07-10-2016 , 12:50 PM
Perhaps they could ban me for having two threads in the house of blog section.

Maybe we'll be so lucky
07-10-2016 , 01:12 PM
Why?

I only browse twoplustwo here and there, so I don't really remember your previous threads. Judging by your writing style though, you seem to be really dramatic about everyday issues that a lot of people face.

People get fired/quit their job all the time. There's no need to over-analyse everything and feel like it's all a 'cosmic joke.' If you're low on funds, go and get another job for the time being, until you find something you'd entertain more permenantly. It's really that simple.
