Re: Building an IG model / commercial photography brand

Focus is obviously not on the photographic skills, but on a naked body. I don't get it. I don't get OP. I mean there is a huge number of naked female bodies on the internet. His work is so not standing out. And I am may be old-fashioned, but I so don't get a guy, who puts himself his GF naked on the internet. And i don't get all that followers crap. I mean in SA blog are sometimes pictures that are more interesting than that.

I know what you mean, but from some of OP's comments I'm not sure she has consented to being the subject of or even knows about this particular discussion, initiated by her so-called bf.

Re: Building an IG model / commercial photography brand

it's ok that you wouldn't follow it. the ROI i'm getting on followers from engagement is astronomically high. i have been able to target people that will follow her and stay engaged and that's all i have to do. the fact that she isn't a glamour model will give her haters and that will make her fans feel *more* engaged

she isn't a glamour model, she would be amazing for fashion or editorial but i want most of the content on here to stay candid... it's like a personality that i'm creating and the people that do like it are staying extremely engaged.... that's all i need.

i don't know how you think an IG model gets famous but all you have to do is be able to create a lot of high quality content and people will like it... whether or not any one person likes it isn't important, the engagement tells me that it's popular and i have a ton of leaks in my game still

once i get things running like a clock it will be adding followers 24/7 on its own.

a normal IG model is trying to promote herself so that she will have a career, be famous and people will follow her... they are taught to keep their follow to follower delta as high as possible as a mark of "market value". but that just makes it where they can't engage their audience. this is a way of creating a platform for marketing and commercial photography

when i get to 100k followers i'll make a lot of money to go to a resort for a week and take pictures of her while i'm there because my account at 100k followers will be able to put those pictures anywhere on instagram. #carribeanresorts or #beach or #summervacation ... and it will be an ad campaign that looks like they are just behind the scenes shots of this girl's life

all i need to do is build an audience and that has been easy

look at any IG model's page and the sexier content will get better engagement. evidently that is news to 2p2 lol

you don't have to get it... there is a *ton* of value in building a platform like i am... you don't have to like the content, i just have to be able to find people that do and that has not been a problem

If I posted a bunch of pictures of me trying to be an IG model you wouldn't have a problem ripping me apart for being delusional because I have an ugly mug. The same applies here.
except i have "sales" and mr. wonderful wouldn't care what the cookies tasted like if i could prove to him that there was a market that liked something he didn't lol

i'm adding at ~100 followers per day, more when i can spend more time on it... the things i'm doing are repeatable to a point that makes my account powerful enough to get exposure all over instagram. you don't have to believe that people will follow the account when they come across it, they already are doing that. now i just have to put in the hours to get it in front of enough people, at 100k followers if i can keep anywhere near the engagement i have now it will be one of the most valuable platforms on IG because i'll be able to put ad campaigns at the top of any hashtag feed i want to... i will have access to reach no other account does. i'm already pinning on posts next to accounts with 10-30x my following and i'm doing it in a way that i haven't seen any other brand doing

you can't just put in time to add followers... those are worthless, you have to put in time to add *engaged* followers and i'm crushing that with a growth rate that will snowball

let me ask you, where do you think i'll plateau and what do you think is going to cause that?

what do you think makes an IG model successful? what would your metric be?

Na its not her. It's a korean camgirl/model. She never goes nude on cam or pictures. Shw currently hve 127k IG followers. And I got many hotties that capped at 40ish K. So gl with your 100k.

they max out because they have no clue how to market themselves to other markets and that's the extent of their market value in the world that they are putting themselves in front of

i'm getting >40% follow backs which is an insane number. I'm getting ~35% engagement and that number has remained consistent throughout growth. i'm able to add followers through engagement at a rate that makes it well worth the time invested to do it because they perform at a very high level for engagement. if i were just adding followers that never cared about the content i would have a problem but that isn't the case

hot girls that don't try *at all* can get 1500 followers... if you hashtag anything you can get to about 12-15k if you have a growth strategy you can get a foot fetish page to 50k so it's easy to see a path to 100k for this brand based on the performance so far.

i'm getting about 200 likes per first hour of my post. once i get that to 1k i'll be able to put it in front of a *massively* larger audience because of the hashtag feeds i can get on at that point

so, if it took me 1 month to go from 0-3k then i don't see why it would take more than 5 more months to get to 15k and at that time i will have the 1k likes per hour that i need to scale my audience

there is a lot more to building a brand on social media than having the hottest girl... and the fact that she has haters will just make the ones who dig the page that much more engaged in it. like i said before, i'm not trying to turn her into a victoria secret model... she is fashion and editorial but while i'm building her following i'm also putting her better work in front of the best photographers in the country by targeting their hashtags. you guys don't think she's hot, that's fine... but she has a really interesting look and has a lot of range and every photographer that works with her wants to shoot her again because she's a blank slate and she gives really honest looks...

my goal is to create content, not get her paid as a model... and from a photographer's perspective she offers a ton to work with so i will get great content for her that most girls couldn't dream of (like having jennifer vaughn be one of the first photographers that ever shot her) ... she will get an amazing looking portfolio just because of that and that will give me the content that elevates the page. my photography is very high level and my goal is to have it be the weakest on the page but for it to be the more personal looking than the professional shoots she has. so, the whole thing is an illusion of a high level model but after about 6 months she will effectively be one because she will be creating the content that is being seen by as many people as a lot of top IG models get seen by

i know it sounds insane to you guys but i've been defending the concept since the beginning in BFI and everyone told me what an idiot i was... and i've grown at a pace well above the one everyone said was loony... i have an account that's 5 weeks old, built completely organically and had 70,000 impressions last week. that's not an accident... it's because i know what i'm talking about and i'm executing like i said i would

Re: Building an IG model / commercial photography brand

Have had some lessons learned lately... posting once per day *really* cuts down on my impressions and slows the momentum of the page. Using a lot of different hashtags on consecutive posts isn't as good for impressions as using the same ones repeatedly.

I'm gping to do some tests this week... I have to shoot pretty much 15 hours / day so I'm going to keep my hashtags really straight forward and I'm going to post a sequence on every other post to see ifor that is more interesting to people.

It's a great way to get more out of a limited amount of content

My stretch goal for nye was to be at 3k but I'll pass 3500 tonight. I think I have a good plan going forward to be able to increase our following pretty rapidly

Oh cool.. My favourite thread is back...

For the newbies here are the previous threads of pure gold.

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/30...model-1626580/
https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/30...nd-ig-1643967/

OPs Instagram account - [link deleted] and despite what he says in original post, he has been at this a lot longer than 1 month....

Also, OP gave a link to his website which in turn made his facebook easy to find. OP is a 3/10 who is in his 40s with his 20 something gf in these photos... The whole thing looks F*cked....

I am addicted to his threads though. They are golden... Seriously, go read the 2 I have linked....

Last edited by niss; 01-10-2017 at 10:25 AM. Reason: we deleted the links from the OP so please don't repost them

Is that right?

So far all you have done is prove everyone right.

Please quote something that you have proven wrong from other threads (If you do manage to find 1 I can come back with about 50 you have not)
