Wow! BOA ****s Me over when I cancel a check and then hits Me w/ an overdraft fee when My account gets a few bucks overdrawn. I didn't write out the amount in the check description, and the check would be sent back to Me! My mistake, but... I didn't need to cancel the check!
They give Me the tough **** routine which is fine...
Everything you want, nothing you need! Thanks Covey, I mean Darth!
No problem, I'll just close My account. Suddenly their mood changes. Too little, too late.
The rep puts Me through a million hoops attempting to stop Me from closing the account, "but wait, umm, we can't, negative balance, blah, blah, blah.. noise that I don't actually pay attention to, at all...." finally gets shut down.
Bottom Line:
Was it worth losing My business over an overdraft fee?
I'll pay you 5 months of 650 and I'm paid off and now you have no relationship, a pissed off customer, and no way to manipulate.... Work on your assumptions as to how I will respond, permanently to your non-sense and stop with the it will all work out because so and so has assured us that it will and My "eye" test says that it will. Look at what has happened, what was promised, and the obvious contradiction starring you in the face....
Bank of America, was it worth it?
