Today I found Open Face Chinese poker... HOLY AMAZEBALLS TAKE ME TO FANTASY LAND!

I've been playing standard CP for awhile and have heard everyone talking about OFC but never jumped on the wagon. I wish I had!

I heard them talking about classes and a low limit beginners game at the MGM. No idea if they fired it up.

I would join the game if they started one. OFC the next big thing? I know Omaha has always held that title, but man this game seems to be catching fire.

Had a pretty interesting weekend...

Saturday morning I went and played the Saturday morning weekly football pick up game. Always have a blast doing that. I took it to the house 3 or 4 times. Had a couple of nice punts also. I don't know why, but punting and kicking field goals is fun. IIRC when we played on the field with the uprights I kicked either a 40 or 45 yarder... just barely.

We went and watched Star Trek Into The Darkness Saturday night. I liked it. The new movies are pretty damn good IMO.

Sunday morning I went on a hike with the dog on Barr Trail. This is the trail that takes you to Pikes Peak. My plan was to go to the top of the Manitou Incline. We got about a third of the way there and I got a call from my wife. She got into a car accident. The dog and I booked it down the hill and to the accident. The accident was minor in terms of injuries and car damage, but probably just enough damage to our car that they will total it. She was due for a new car anyways, but the problem is she gon' have to settle for something cheap for the time being. There goes my plans of buying jet skis! lol.

Today I called the insurance company to find out about our rental car policy. I thought we had full coverage, and we do, but we don't have the rental car part. $2 more a month is what it would of cost... Uggggg... I'm pissed because I was under the assumption I had that and 3 weeks ago I called to make an appointment to see what coverage we had but they didn't have time because they were moving. In fact they rarely have time. I am switching agents TODAY. So tilting.

Some good news is that we are back on the structured paleo plan. The salad I am eating right now is awesome. I am glad to be back on it. I won't lie, as much exercise as I did this weekend I some how gained some weight.... aka I ate bad on Friday and had Sushi last night. Structured plan is good for us, it keeps up on track.

Here are some semi-TR pics:

On our way up

Lunch!

Sicilian Salad (minus olives and kale):

Ingredients
Juice of ½ to 1 lemon (depending upon how lemon-y you like it)
3 Tbs olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
¼ tsp red pepper flakes
½ tsp dried oregano
¼ tsp sea salt
freshly ground black pepper
1 bunch Lacinato kale, washed with woody stems removed
¼-½ lb hard salami, diced
½ cup pickled sweet peppers (use cherry tomatoes if these cannot be found sugar-free)
½ cup peperoncinis
4-6 marinated artichoke hearts
¼ cup green olives (Castelveltrano recommended)
¼ cup toasted sunflower seeds
4-6 pickled red onion slices or rings (optional)
Roasted Cauliflower (optional)
Instructions
In a small mason jar (with a lid), combine lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, oregano, salt and pepper. Cover with lid and shake until fully blended. Set aside.
Thinly slice kale leaves. In a large salad bowl, toss the kale with the lemon dressing to coat leaves fully (use as much or as little as desired).
Top kale with remaining ingredients as desired and divide into two bowls to serve.
