Ok, well then, where to begin? Well, I am just a simple member of 2+2 that occasionally frequents the hockey threads and other threads in SE along with Laughs or Links, the Lounge, and OOT and BBV4Life.

Prior to that, I used to frequent NVG and the wrestling subforum on a usual basis. I haven't been in those forums in months since I really did not like the atmosphere of NVG, then, and that has soured my enjoyment of the news/game of poker in general and that wrestling, in general, has not been relatively enjoyable to watch and I did not want to be a cranky guy in the forum, there has been good people there as well.

Luckily, I found myself in the NHL threads and the good people there have been a fun bunch to read and banter around and that's pretty much my new home in 2+2.

So about me, well I'm a fan of hockey and the LA Kings and as usual, if they are at their best with no injuries or anything weird stuff, they should have a smooth ride to the playoffs again. I'm a fan of rock music, especially hard/modern/alternative rock music. Bands like Alter Bridge, Foo Fighters, and Rush have been the bands that have been really captivated and motivated me in times of need.

As for my personal life, well, I'm just taking college courses to get a degree in accounting and I'll see where I go from there. So yep.

Cliffs: I'm a nutbag, hockey fan, and rock music fan that has a very unorthodox approach to thinking and doing tasks and yeah. Hope I'll post with some of you guys down the road in this thread.

I am a very casual hockey fan but like the Sharks can you tell me what is the main cause for them not having won a Stanley Cup? Is it ownership, management, the playoffs are a crap shoot ect ? They get my hopes up when they get into the playoffs seemingly every season and I'll start watching a bit closer only to see them get bounced.

In all fairness and honesty, I have no clue why the Sharks have yet make it to the Stanley Cup finals. Even though, I hate them very much, it is only because they have such a good depth of a team and they always have a spot in the playoffs. Sometimes, they end up top of the Pacific division or have the best chance of winning the #1 spot of the Pacific division.

I think playoffs are such a crapshoot. They lost to Vancouver in 2011 in five games, yet swept them in 2013. Pretty much, humiliated LA in six games, but went to the limit with LA for seven games in 2013.

I don't know, I'm probably not the best guy to say this and there's probably three or four Sharks posters in the offseason thread that may go more in depth and details about this.
