Not sure what I am going to talk about here. Probably people's misbehavior like the driver who zoomed around me this morning in order to make the same turn I was going to be making.

Stay tuned.

A blog complaining about bad drivers could be a lot of fun. And very long. And frequently updated.

Is it that people have actually gotten worse at driving or does it just appear that way? I would say people have gotten worse if only due to cell phones.

Worst example I have seen is the lady who was going side to side in her lane. As I pulled along side, I noticed she was texting. At highway speeds.

I am not a banned poster. Either perm or temp.

Why do people start moving before other cars have cleared intersections? I have to go through a four way stop on a daily basis and this happens constantly.

If you move before the other car has gotten out of the way and it stalls, a t-bone is a definite possibility.

Don't people care?

Is it just me or are more people doing sushi?

Sushi is when you just roll through a stop sign. It used to be people would briefly stop although not as long as they should and this is a California stop, but the stop is vitually non-existant so it is basically a roll. A California roll which made me think of sushi.

Perhaps people should drive like law enforcement is around even when it isn't.

haha General Cheesehead, I like that.

I have yet to drink the sushi Kool-Aid, as it were. But I also haven't had really great sushi yet, I suspect. I'm more of a fried chicken and beer type.

Driving makes me very anxious. We're never closer to death than when we're driving around.

The spouse and I were almost hit mostly head on a couple of days ago. It was dark and a car was approaching us. Due to the headlights, I didn't realize a second car was close behind and about three-fourths in our lane. A couple of honks did not lead to the other car getting back over so I had to dive for the shoulder.

The spouse was a victim of road rage yesterday, but is okay. Someone didn't understand the eighteen wheelers in front of the spouse didn't allow the spouse to go faster. The spouse gestured for the other driver to back off, the other driver didn't, and the spouse showed the other driver was number one. The other driver pulled alongside, rolled down the window, and then threw something which hit the car. I couldn't find any damage.

Define Irony. When someone pulls out in front of you with little space to spare and you do nothing, but someone pulls out in front of them with plenty of time and they go nuts laying on the horn.

Had that happen today.

Finally got my poker books out of storage and home. I guess I didnt get at least one back as I didn't find Theory of Poker. There could be more missing as I have quite a few books and I have loaned some through the years, but didn't keep lists of what I bought or what I loaned.

Watching a show about houses and there was one where the master suite alone was 2500 sq ft. Darn. That is way bigger than my entire house.

Yesterday, we found ourselves in Hamilton Missouri which is the birthplace of J.C. Penney and we came across something very unexpected. Hamilton is only about a thousand people, but it has a restaurant with food of the quality you would expect to find in a top restaurant in a metropolitan area.

It is called Blue Sage. I had beef stroganoff and the spouse had chicken cordon bleu [sp]. Both were excellent.

Hamilton also has a burger place and an ice cream shop. We didn't partake, but we did look in and both looked to be places that stressed quality.

We will be going back to Hamilton.

I've decided to start doing book reviews where I will post it here first and then post it on a more general book site like Goodreads.

The first review will be on Real Poker Psychology and the psychology section of Poker and More.

In anticipation of that, I will be rereading the former this weekend.

The latter isn't even released yet so it will be sometime before the review can go up.

I will probably continue with reviewing poker psychology books for a period of time.

I will be having more free time from the 22nd to 29th of this month so I am shooting for the 25th to post my review of Real Poker Psychology as Poker and More should have arrived with enough time for me to read it.
