Astonishingly, President Obama has proven himself to be more pompous, arrogant, and duplicitous than Caiaphas on his worst day. Netanyahu gives God nothing but meaningless lip service and platitudes, while disrespecting The Heavenly Father with his two faced policies and action. ISIS commits one atrocity after another, claiming it to be in the name of Allah.

**** each of you!

Stop, and really ponder the following. Consider that roughly 2000 years ago, Jesus lived an unequivocally sinless life, and was publicly tortured and crucified on The Cross at the behest of the religious leadership in Israel, with a lynch mob crowd's hatred, approval, and cheers, by the official decree of the Roman Governor, Pontius Pilate. Can you imagine what Israel would have done, if Jesus had actually been an out-casted sinner, for the greater portion of his life?

Jesus's suffering, as the Heavenly Father had planned all along, paved the way for our salvation. Thank God. Amen.

Let's ask Obama what he thinks

Spoiler:

Spoiler:
"Like us, Jesus knew fear, in the Garden of Gathsemane, with attackers closing in around him, Jesus told his disciples, 'My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow, to the point of death.' He fell to his knees, pleading with His Father, saying, 'If it is possible, may this cup be taken from me?' And yet in the end, he confronted his fear, with words of humble surrender, saying, 'If it is possible for this cup to be taken away, unless I drink it, may Your Will will be done. It is only because Jesus conquered his own anguish, conquered his fear, that we are able to celebrate the resurrection. It's only because he endured, unimaginable pain, that racked his body, and bore the sins of the world, *that he burdened*, that burdened his soul, that we are able to proclaim, he is risen. So the struggle to fathom, that unfathomable sacrifice, makes Easter all the more meaningful, to all of us. Ahh, it helps us, to put an eternal perspective, to whatever temporal challenges we face. It puts in perspective, our small problems, relative to the big problems he was dealing with. It gives us courage. And, it gives us hope. We all have experiences that shake our faith. There are times when we have we have questions for God's plan, relative to us, *laughter*, but that's precisely when we should remember, uh, Christ (Wut), and eventually his own triumph."

-Obama

So my step brother down here, in Broomall, PA, has had a picture of Jesus hanging on his wall since he was a teenager. The odd thing to me at least, is that if you quizzed him right now, he couldn't tell you the name of a single apostle, couldn't tell you anything about the Bible, has never been to church, and doesn't want to go. I've asked him. Nonetheless, he tells everyone who asks him about his religious faith that he's a Christian.

Sometimes I feel bad for the kid (he's 30) because he's never held a job, other than a few weeks at a local CVS, and has never made a taxable income. He's an aspiring artist and has sold a few prints and originals on Etsy. He has also gotten a few odd jobs as a graphic designer. Mostly through friends. Not enough to pay taxes on, but still a few hundred bucks here and there counts. He's got talent, no question. But IMO it's become pathetic. I've encouraged him plenty (go to graphic design school, etc.), and have done a lot to try and help him (give him money to advertise his art through Facebook, etc.). Nonetheless, my encouragement hasn't helped him, and he is adrift in boat without a paddle.

Hello DrChesspain,

I see that you claim my posting above has violated 2+2's TOS. I couldn't disagree with you more. Please be kind, and tell me how exactly, you believe, my post is in violation of this forum's TOS. I would appreciate it if you'd be willing to keep the dialogue non-aggressive, non-threatening, calm, and rational, and avoid using words like "politarding," so that I may come to gain a better understanding and appreciation of what I've supposedly done wrong in this particular instance. Thereafter, I will take a civil action to correct the "alleged wrong doing" with the intent of "settling our differences in a both a reasonable and procedural manner."
