The New Canvas Project

There is destruction all around me. I feel I can't control the complete chaos but I can control and concentrate on very small areas. I am starting with 2 square feet at a time in my home. I started with the back of my bedroom closet. I am so proud as I look at the jackets and slacks nicely organized. I found pants and jeans I forgot I had.

I've found that in the lowest points in my life I was extremely messy and disorganized. I've noticed this with other people as well. My roommate who killed himself remained pretty organized to the very end though. However, in the last month of his life his appearance was somewhat disheveled. Also, he never stopped hoarding and refused to let go of items from his past. I think it's very useful to go through your stuff and rid yourself of items you don't use. It's good that you have organized your jeans and slacks but if you are unlikely to use them in the next year then donate them. Free yourself of the extra clutter.
