I have cut way down on VP and mainly trying to focus more on poker. VP is great for comps. I can get 30 nights a month free just playing quarters. I may need those nights if I lose my home. I have only lost $900 in VP this year.

I have been reading TBC's blog lately. It's interesting to follow a traveling rambling gambler

I think I can get my roll to 19k by April. His method of living would be not a bad idea for me to clear all my debts. I would qualify for chapter 7 without an income

I could do that for 2 years and then return back to society. It's been crossing my mind lately

I just got a tax form from Discover when they charged off my debt. Bastards. So now I guess I'll be paying to the government instead.

That happened to me but you can get around that by showing insolvency ... I was insolvent before I got all my company stock and retirement and then busto again

I'm surprised they didn't sue you. Discover used to carry their own portfolios rather than selling off their debts.
American Express definitely carry their own portfolio. They love suing. They sued Courtney Love and me. Try not to default on American Express. I had to pay them back 100 percent ... Lol

My Discover card debt was under $5k so I don't think it was worth it for them to sue over.

It seems like it would be less stupid for you to take shots at the 5/T/20 game than to go to the high limit room.
