With such an incredible offer, I wonder how the stake house actually earns?

Taking your example of staking someone for $1,000 in buy in, giving him another $1,000 as salary. If he wins, he pays you back $400 as stipulated in the contract.

So the stake house loses $1,600 for a winning horse? What's the rationale behind this deal where the stakers almost always lose?

An overarching PJ feature is an obligation binding any player as party to the sponsorship contract, regardless of the game results, to reimburse a portion of the amount he or she is physically awarded as a prize in the listed tournaments, its percentage specified contractually. No extra obligations shall be in place to bind the player.

The project works on the basis of specific financial model, which allows him to operate under these conditions. In the model there are several stabilizing factors. For example, a Team PJ Pro is also a source of income. Players need stability, fulfillment of the conditions indicated by the project and cash payments. They don't care what earns the project. Isn't it?

On 21 September at 16-00 GMT our project will be inaugurated with the first official rating tournament. The winner of the tournament will be in a position to sign the first contract with our project in the qualifiers for an amount of $7200. More details of the location and registration in the rating tournaments may be found in the personal profile.

A few words about contracts and selection: The PokerJob Project has a special points system for the participation in rating tournaments (held at Pokerstars and other poker rooms). Rating tournaments are everyday tournaments among project participants. They are constantly. The dates of these tournaments unlimited. Rating points will be awarded in each tournament (by analogy with the tournament leader board at PokerStars). These points are accumulate. A player can sign a contract as soon as he has necessary sum of points.

When Poker Stars comes to NJ would residents from NJ be able to participate? Granted NJ PokerStars would not be connected to ROW player pool

I am afraid, but in this case you will not be able to participate in the project. At the moment the project Pokerjob does not work with reservations.

I just read this and I say kudos to you PJ for providing such awesome opportunities to winners. I hope I never need staking, but if I ever do this sounds very legit.

Dear PokerJob Members! Please be advised that a new timetable of rating tournaments will be brought into effect from 20 October 2014. The new timetable takes aboard quite a few wishes from the project members in terms of the number, structure and starting time of the tournaments. Tournament participation will cost less, with tournament packages added. More tournaments will be held and more points may be collected. Now each and every project member may afford engagement in a broader number of rating tournaments, collect points in a prompt manner, battle for the top standings in the rating and eventually secure a fast sponsorship contract.
