MTT Staking offered. Starting low, k roll. Gradually moving the player up limits. MTT Staking offered. Starting low, k roll. Gradually moving the player up limits.

After years of experience as a poker player, I now want to slowly get into the staking business and for now am looking for just one player to stake (on pokerstars). The stake will start with $3.50 180man sngs and micro and low buy in MTTs. But the plan is for me to gradually move the player up in levels.

About Myself:

I am playing poker since the end of 2006, mostly on Pokerstars under the screenname Cashcid Linc. I started out mainly playing 18man sngs and eventually switched to tournaments which are my main game today. I have had a lot of success in MTTs, profiting well over $200k on pokerstars alone in about 10k scheduled mtts and another 10k 180mans, with my biggest win there being a $28k 2nd place fisnish in a Sunday 50rebuy. My ROI in scheduled mtts on pokerstars had been just under 50% at the end of 2012 on OPR with an average buy in of $27. Then I blocked my stats for several reasons.
Throughout my career I have worked with a few people such as Michael Lehr aka Manhat10ite, who was the most profiting $16 18man sng player in 2008, which was about the time when he staked me and coached me in sngs. Then I have worked with Amir Lehavot aka AmirSF, a very good highstakes online MTT and live MTT player who coached and staked me for MTTs for a little over a year from 2011 until early 2012.

About this Project:

-the stake will be on pokerstars.com/pokerstars.eu

-As mentioned in the introduction, the stake will start with the player playing $3.50 180man sngs and low and micro stakes mtts.

-As the player improves and the bankroll grows, buy in limits will be increased as well.

-Assigned starting roll for the player is $5k. I will send $500 to the player in the beginning and reload always when the amount in account is busted.

-profit split in the beginning will be 50/50.
For each 5k profit the player makes, he will receive a bonus payment of $200 from me. So for example if the player has made $4900 profit at one point, the split up to that point was 50/50, meaning both the player and the backer got $2450. Now when the player profits for another $500 for example, the player gets $250 of that plus a $200 bonus, so $450 total. This equals an effective cut in favor of the player of 54% of all profits up to $50k, when the cut improves further in favor of the player.

-at $50k profit, the general cut increases in favor of the player to 55%(player)/45%(backer). The player will continue to receive a $200 bonus payment from me for each $5k profit he makes, which makes his effective long run cut 59% of all profits.

Requirements (besides obv stuff like computer, internet, brain etc.):

What I expect from the player:

I expect you to not only want to make money, but to love the game and to be willing to improve and become greater than you were yesterday, every day that you play. I am not looking for a player that is autopiloting his decisions. You don’t have to be the strongest player in the beginning, as it is my plan to bring you there. But you need the willingness to become the strongest player and you need to be ready to work for that.

Expected Volume:

I will not set any volume requirements, however I prefer to stake a player who can devote a lot of his time to playing, like 3-4 days on average per week minimum. However I am also a big fan of taking breaks when feeling burned out, so you are of course free to take days off from poker any time that you want.

Buy out of Make Up:

You can buy out of make up any time that you want at the cut that you are staked for. So in the beginning that means if you are 2k in make up, you can buy out for 1k (50%) and leave the stake. Later if you have a 55% cut, and you are 2k in make up, you can buy out for $1100 (55% of that) and leave the stake. The bonus money will not be considered here, you can just keep that.

Leaving the Stake:

You can leave the stake when not in make up, after you have bought out of make up or if I drop you. You can not leave the stake when none of the above is the case.

If you are interested in starting this project with me, PM me an application, which includes the following:

i realize that the player will actually be overrolled in the beginning. This allows room for a quick increasement in buy in limits if things go smoothly. I just want to start this conservatively.
