Career: I've started playing poker since 2009 when my ex dumped me, of course, at the beginning it was fishy as well, but by the time i have started to take it more seriously by reading p-books, poker sites, talking to others about hands, etc.
I have tried both, playing live as well as grinding and i could say both of it has its pros and cons. To be honest my biggest win has never been more than 500 dollars, might be caused, because i just didnt have enough luck or didnt play that well. As my favourite tournaments are HU SNG, MTT, hyper turbos, where a lot of variance is, unfortunatelly i have been mostly busted at 50-100 place out of xxx thousand of people, despite of leading the majority of it....as we all do)
Ref: None at the moment as I've just joined 2+2. Havent been staked yet.
Stake Limits: I would like to play the TCOOP mid stakes 27 7.5R..and subs. for bigger ones, i do preffer tournaments with faster structure, FO or one rebuy at most, MTT as well as i already said.
Why wanting to be staked: Well, it would help me to focus on the play more, discussing my hands, decrease the variance, although poker is neccesserily a matter of happiness i do strongly believe, that the players who have enough skills, should have decreased this thread to the minimum. Plus poker is just life long experience as i am concerned no one can say i am the best, even Phill Ivey o)
However, i would love to develop my poker skills in all possible ways and not let you down, got used to do everything with a maximum effort, especially when its something what i like and want to be good at it.
How much am i willing to play? It depends. Currently i am working at my mothers law office as articled clerk, but cant imagine i would be doing it forever. Normally i am playing 1-2x a week live plus 2-3 days on the i-net approx. 5-6 hours, but i can imagine i might have played much more.
Strengths: Playing strong hands pre-flop as well as to be able to try a stone cold bluff when recognizing opponents weakness, calculating odds combinated by feeling of the play, never been using any programme. In my opinion whe you use statistics too much and let them affect you it makes your play even worse.
Weaknesses :
From time to time playing too much tight when the bubble comes, while playing live sometimes overestimate the tells.
Thanks for your time, hope, i didnt bother you too much o)
