Hey everyone, thanks for your responses. I will be getting back to all of you shortly if I haven't already.

1) PS name (if you don't play there state why)
taco100, but i dont play there

2) FTP name (if you don't play there state why)
quesadillas10, my main income

3) Other sites played on with names
none

4) # of MTTs you can play on a weekly basis (be realistic)

i can play easily 50-70 MTT a day, so around 300-400 a week.

5) Why you are looking to get backed

i want to be able to play higher MTTś without risking my own money.

6) What your expectations for getting staked are

be able to play MTT from 1$ to 200$, get lil coaching for SNG and enjoy the community of poker.

7) References (if you don't have references say that)

a guy from blackmoonpoker may vouch for me, but except this one i dont have any.

8) Any other information you think may be pertinent for me to know.

i can play up to 26-30 hours str8, all week, so i can put the highest volume in.

1) PS name (if you don't play there state why)

czGLoRy

2) FTP name (if you don't play there state why)

czGLoRy

3) Other sites played on with names

none really, a little bit on UB with docgolf65

4) # of MTTs you can play on a weekly basis (be realistic)

hundreds I guess

5) Why you are looking to get backed

I want to play a lot of tournaments that I am massively +EV in but don't have the bankroll to do so

6) What your expectations for getting staked are

Put me in tournaments I couldn't otherwise play, I ship very large amounts of cash and we both get our shares : )

7) References (if you don't have references say that)

I can provide infinite references, some of the better ones:

thegreatwall (I have shipped him at least 30k in profits from buying % of me in MTTs)
virge - has received lots of $$ from me for buying %s in tournies, friend
klink10k - room mate in Thailand
rsxpunk - room mate in Thailland
shipitfma
ksuno1stunna
realpk
loopholes

8) Any other information you think may be pertinent for me to know.

just got back from playing in APT and APPT Macau a couple days ago, played really well, ended up basically losing flips to bust (for top 3 stack in APPT Main near end of day 1 and for almost 2x average in APT 6 hours in). Got 2nd in a headhunters event to JC Tran. Crushed live cash there.

Super solid cash game player, have been playing professionally for a little over two years, played up to 5/10 NL as my main game, and was coaching poker on 2+2 with good feedback for some time. I have an unbelievable ability to build massive stacks in tournaments, so just toning up my end game and short stack play would probably put me well above the current level I am playing at.

top 100 MTT player on FTP

I crush online, want to play online tournies of course, but I am particularly interested in live tournaments

Let me know if you have any questions, and GL!

1) PS name: Sillybrinyc, don't really play there too much as there is no rakeback for me

2) FTP name: Wackybrinyc- most of my play is there

(just because I have some goofy screen names does not mean that I am not emotionally mature, I just like to have fun at the tables and to remind myself that it's a game. My name's help me in that regard, even though I can get crazy angry tilt once in a while.

3) Other sites played on with names: LuckboxNYC on UB (but don't really play there anymore)
4) # of MTTs you can play on a weekly basis (be realistic) I'd say around 35-50 maybe more as a project that I currently am working on will be wrapping up soon ( I work in television production)

5) Why you are looking to get backed: looking to improve my game and I have been backed before and am much more responsible with someone else's money than I am with my own (wayyyy too much shot taking and bad br management) and now I am busto b/c of my bad br management and a large percentage of br was withdrawn for my personal life.

you can see how ridiculously bad my br management is with my sharkscope graph... I think this could be in the sharkscope hall of fame thread LOL.... stupid computer wont take the screen shot for me but you can check me out there.

6) What your expectations for getting staked are: Definitely want to take my game to the next level and get some real time coaching and also to start to be a consistent final table presence

7) References (if you don't have references say that) I was staked for SNG's by BraveJayHawk for a short period of time and ended things when I used my percentage of winnings for a satellite to a large tourney and made a nice score for me at the time (18th in the Sunday Brawl on FTP). I told him about it (even though I didn't have to) then I shipped him the amount for buy in since (the tourney buy- in.. .not the satellite) I never got a payment of my percentage at that point so he considered that I bought to the event using his money. I thought it was not the case but a weird gray area and since I am an honest, fair (sometimes too fair imo) guy I shipped it anyway. I think telling this story goes to show how upfront I am.

Also was a member of the defunct wcgrider busto school. I was a super noob but very entertaining to doug, feel free to ask him about pokercomedy (my aim screen name). My game has come a long way since then.

8) Any other information you think may be pertinent for me to know: Played since 2006 but never really very seriously but this year actually went on the mtt forums and read some and contributed and my game his grown enormously. you can check out my stat differential from years 2006- 2008 and what I've done in the first 3/4 of 2009. Also recently double final tabled the daily double on FTP (July 1st 2009) and the tracking sites do not take that into their numbers so you can slap around 8600 on to my winnings.

When FTP had their big software update all the tracking sites went stupid for a while except bluff so they have my correct winnings etc.

http://www.bluffmagazine.com/thepoke...6&endyear=2009

looking forward to working with you.

1) PS name (if you don't play there state why): SLOrunner (haven't played there much this year, deposit problems & limited roll on there)

2) FTP name (if you don't play there state why): Casinonomad5787 (most of my play is here)

3) Other sites played on with names: AP & UB casinonomad & casinonomad5 (recently signed up on both now that they are mac compatible, haven't really played yet)

4) # of MTTs you can play on a weekly basis (be realistic): In the ballpark of 50 for online, free to travel for live anytime

5) Why you are looking to get backed: I have to pay living expenses etc. with my roll so I'm constantly having to withdraw and leaving myself too short to grind a full schedule of MTT's on a daily basis. Has made putting in volume a huge problem for me.

6) What your expectations for getting staked are: Having a reliable backer that I can trust who is willing to help me by providing me with a stable roll to grind on that I can turn into profits for the both of us. Any coaching from you/footwork is definitely also a plus. Always looking to stay on top of improving my game.

7) References (if you don't have references say that): Have a few live references I can direct you too if your interested in me.

same as above

3) Other sites played on with names
ipoker network
omg1timeee
isamukatsu

4) # of MTTs you can play on a weekly basis (be realistic)
i can 12-16 table but 9 would be my optimum for mtts so i figure i can put in very good volume

5) Why you are looking to get backed
mainly because i blew my own roll on sports betting and i have always been staked as i play better with others money. have had alot of deals on ipoker but really want the chance to play on stars/tilt

6) What your expectations for getting staked are
to start of at whatever level you feel is best and move up as fast as possible while benefiting from your coaching/tips

7) References (if you don't have references say that)
on 2+2 pokahpokah who is long time stt poster

3) Every blue moon I'll play on Bodog, AP or Lock.

4) M-Th -> at least 5 per Night. F-Sat -> about 7+ each. Sunday full schedule.

5) Financially to help offset variance and to gain high quality coaching from a more experienced player.

6) Become a very good winning player

7) Don't really have much. I can provide personal info so that we can speak, meet or w/e.

8) I am very eager to learn and become a very good player. For the most part I have become a solid, winning player without have the luxory of a continuous coaching regiment or having friends to regularly discuss Hands with. A deal like this could be exactly what I need to take off. Also, I am full time software engineer that doesn't need to run poker scams to put food on my table. I mainly play a nightly EST schedule during the week and have had a fair amount of success.

2) FTP name (if you don't play there state why)
jiacstrap

3) Other sites played on with names

4) # of MTTs you can play on a weekly basis (be realistic)
150+ a week. I have no problem with volume.

5) Why you are looking to get backed

I play my best poker when I am backed, I stay under control and don't chase or take shots. Mtt's can be very rough on anyone's psych, being backed controls that a lot better.

6) What your expectations for getting staked are

Take in any coaching offered. Build a solid rep with my backer and move onto live events/higher stakes online mtt's. Most importantly - run good.

7) References (if you don't have references say that)

hokiegreghu, xthesteinx, nofear47

8) Any other information you think may be pertinent for me to know.

Been playing for about 11 months now professionally. Been backed for most of my mtt scores. Have xferred serious amounts of cash in backing deals and have several xfers in the high stakes threads here on 2p2. I have not put any volume into live poker tournies, I did final table a borgata 2k deep stack event about 8 months ago.

Here is what I require:

- At least 10k in PROFIT on opr/bluff
- At least 30% ROI(exception would be if you have a high ABI and are
willing to play smaller)
- Coachable and high poker intelligence
- Must be full time. Be able to play every Sunday and at least 30
MTTs/wk on average
- Honest, trustworthy, and emotionally mature
- At least 1 year contract

My requirements are stringent compared to most backers, but I am only
looking for the highest quality horses. I also offer a lot more than
the typical backer. My partner is a WPT winner and a very successful
online MTT player as well. He plays under the name "footwork" on FTP.
He doesn't play often but as you can see his results are spectacular.
Under our arrangement he would be offering personalized coaching
which should be able to dramatically improve your results.
As for myself, I am a fairly well known backer in the
cash game arena, just now moving over to MTTs. If you pass my
screening process, I can provide referrals. As a backer I am very
fair and flexible, I seek to maximize the long term EV of everyone
involved.

If you are interested and meet my requirements, please reply to this
post with the following info. If you PM me you will be instantly
disqualified for not being able to follow instructions.

2. pokerproplaya08 is my ID on FTP
3. None
4. 20-50
5. Looking to increase MTT volume and rebuild a decent bankroll
6. Looking to get the normal 50/50 with stakeback. I've had that offer before and made others money (from chipmeup, or friends i've met through FTP)
7. Don't have any refs on this site as I'm a newcomer (been lurking for a while) but, on chipmeup, Sabby can vouch for me... n many overnight grinders on FTP can vouch that I'm a solid player

ok im looking to get backed on stars/ftp basicly because of the traffic and volume of mtts compared to ipoker , looking to basicly up my volume and winrate
6) What your expectations for getting staked are
have never been staked before so basicly and to make it simple...you pay , i play and we both get paid
7) References (if you don't have references say that)

ehh ok ive been playing for almost 3 years live 200nl for the first year or so the moved to online where i started with sngs then to mtts and when i had enough to grind 50nl i moved to cash where i played 50nl (40k hands month) for about 3 to 4 months before i moved up to 100nl and and played for about a month or so when i just lost a bit of enjoyment for the game and went back to mtts where i feel its my strongest game.im now lookin to build a br on various sites. look forward to speaking with you cheers

5) Why you are looking to get backed : looking to make new friends in the poker economy world and move my way up through the ranks. 1) PS name (thamask)

2) FTP name ( very limited play thamask )

3) Other sites played on with names

playey alot of cake and inetwork. Alot of my 2008/09 play was on T6 due to a sponsership deal
( ub- thaboss, cake - thamask, t6-thaboss inetwork- varies )

4) # of MTTs you can play on a weekly basis

(30-50 maybe more)

5) Why you are looking to get backed

Im looking to get backed so i can increase my volume and move up to playing fulltime. i have my own roll which was larger before purchasing house. Being backed relieves the pressure of swings and i have stronger results as proved when being backed in the past.

6) What your expectations for getting staked are

I expect if selected to play alot of tournys, especially the dailys. The backer will advise me on some tournys they want me to play.

7) References

(I have staked a few low stakes stt players from 2+2 and been staked by a well known pro. Im very well known on another online community and have no issue providing all refrences via pm at a further date)

8) Any other information you think may be pertinent for me to know.

2007 as a small stakes stt/mtt grinded a bit live (local tournys) and online built a little roll then had some coaching.

Results for 2008/09 include: Winning T6 main event for a bit over 100k (staked by tonyg) also 14th the week before for 4k, won the pokerstars 20k, 4th pokerstars 20k 6max and stars 10k, 2nd in the weekly holleywood poker major, a solid cash in the fulltilt weekly 750k and many other smaller cashes.

Live results for 2008/09: Winning the Victorian champs team event, 3rd star city big game and also cashed in the pokernews cup and deep stack venetian tourny in las vegas. Played wsop main.

In 2008 and early 2009 i got alot of live tourny experience I have played very limited online in 2009 (bar a little on stars) due to other commitments and also traveling playing live. Im serious about grinding the dailys and putting in a time and effort to get results. I'd be very interested in talking more in private about making this a long term deal. Im want to do this fulltime.

5) to continue playing bigger buyin mtt's without cutting too deep into my roll. also, to finally get decent mtt coaching. ive done well inthe past but feel if i had some actual coaching i could fill in a lot of leaks that i have.

6) make money and be able to play a ton of tournaments without 100% risk on my roll, i've been backed before and had to ship 30k+ to backer.

7) have some but would rather discuss in private

8) poker is my source of income and has been for a while. i feel very confident in my mtt game but have played them off and on and never been a true mtt grinder. ive never had coaching and feel i could learn a lot from that. within the last month and a half ive made about 5 final tables and about 60k+ in tourney winnings. ive played poker for about 6 years and the last 3 have been for my income. hope to discuss this further with you. thank you.

I think this is why he'd like to discuss #7 in private.

5) Why you are looking to get backed
Reduce variance, as poker is my only source of income. Also, to move up and play buy ins I feel I have an edge in, but otherwise would not be able to play without backing.

6) What your expectations for getting staked are
Play all tournaments online from 10r to 109r and FOs up to $530. Adding 150r, 200r and weekly 1ks when I'm up a substantial amount. Play at least 5 days a week and ship a bunch of $$$. I'd also like to venture more into the live portion of the deal.

7) References (if you don't have references say that)

Not many references on 2+2, but I am a regular in the online poker world.

Also a decent PLO player and wouldn't mind being backed in plo mtts as well. I'm currently backed just subscribing to this thread to see if I can find a better deal.

5) Why you are looking to get backed

Poker is my main source of income and thus my roll has never really allowed me to play $100rs and weekly $1ks which I feel I should be playing as I feel I'm +ev in these mtts.

6) What your expectations for getting staked are

The biggest buyins online along with live backing in EPT side events and possibly main events.

7) References (if you don't have references say that)

Gbecks/gutshtallin

4) # of MTTs you can play on a weekly basis (be realistic)

5) Why you are looking to get backed
I'm looking to be backed so I can play at 100% and not have to deal with the mental swings of tournaments. I have a sufficient BR as it stands, but the fact that I'd be able to play my top game and put in a good daily number of tourneys interests me greatly. I'm confident that you'd be happy with the return over 1 year period.

6) What your expectations for getting staked are
Expectations are to improve my game and be able to play at my top level over a good sample size. I expect with coaching and being able to put in numbers it would bring me to the next level of a winning player. I know I will be at this level soon, but being able to be backed as well as coached would bring me to that level just that much quicker.

7) References (if you don't have references say that)
None

8) Any other information you think may be pertinent for me to know.
I dont have 100k winnings as these other players, but I know with the help of you/coach this with be attainable.

I hope you have more questions for me.
