SSMTT Mod and long time online player is seeking a backer for mid stakes MTTs.

I have been a winning player for years and have won/ final tabled MTTs with BI of $5, $11, $15, $22, $33, $44, $55 and $109. I play both full field MTTs and MTT SNGs (45/180 man) both turbo and regular speed. My OPR can be seen here:

I am currently in the midst of a disagreement with mother variance but my overall long term results have been solid and consistent. The combination of my current downswing and also my need to withdraw some poker funds for real life is the reason I am seeking a backer.

I am in daily contact with many of the best mid and high stakes players on 2+2 and have access to their expertise and rail discussions. I am also a frequent poster who works extremely hard to improve my game on a daily basis.

I also have an excellent and long term reputation for being trustworthy and have been asked to escrow funds and arbitrate issues for many 2+2ers.

My goal is to play mid stakes MTT and MTT SNGs on both Stars and FTP with the occasional Sunday Majors.

What do i need to say? If you don't know how good of a poker player or person SS is then you don't have any business staking anyone.

Hello my name is Brad and I am one of ssnyc's bad beat story listeners and poker confidantes.

Ssnyc is plainly +ev in teh pokers and I enthusiastically recommend him as a stakee. If I was not losing my shirt with my current operations (ahem, ahem) I would definitely stake him myself.

I've known ssnyc since I started playing tournaments regularly. I've been talking about poker with him since then and he's a good, thoughtful player who's always working to get better (he's mod of MTTs, so I'm not the only one who thinks he can play.) As for character, there's no one I've met since I started playing poker that I trust more than ssnyc.

most trustworthy and organized mtt'er on the forum imo. obv well respected within the 2+2 community and im sure around the world. <3

done heaps of transfers and talk to ss practically daily. definitely very trustworthy and works very hard on constantly improving his game.

what can i say that hasnt already been said.

ss is one of the most honest and trusting people ive met on 2+2. hes been overly gracious and has done everything he can in my development as a player. a good friend, and even better poker player. hes staked me in almost everything and given so much to me. its hard for me to materialize the words to describe what he has done for me.

i would trust him with almost anything, and stake him in anything, because of frienship and trust, and because i think hes a great player, but his results over the haul show that.

this is an opportunity that shouldnt be passed down by any staker.

i 2nd all the good things that everyone has said above...im too tired/stupid to come up with anything original at this time...very good player, high character guy, good investment sums it up.

Anyone who can and doesn't is seriously missing out.
