As agoo said, they claim to have a coach, but I sent him hand histories and was told I'd have a chance for review and a chance to move up in stakes within a week. A few weeks went by, and I am a patient person and understand things happen and plans change, so I followed up with both the coach and one of the main stable leaders. I wasn't angry or anything, and I was very polite about it. I was told again that I'd be reviewed within a week. Nothing happened. I was then kicked off the stake shortly after and was told they didn't have time to help me and they were only focused on the grinders who were able to put in a lot of volume. I have a full time job, so it's understandable I wasn't in their plans. It was just the way they handled the whole thing that irked me.
Nice people overall outside of poker, but I would say it's pretty difficult to work with them. Especially the coach, who also sent me a rude response after I told the stable leaders that he had not given me my review that I was promised a month or two prior.
I don't think they make it very easy to work with them. Also, the assistant (I guess you could call her that because she loads the accounts, sends out informative emails, etc.) does not seem very knowledgeable about poker and does not come off as friendly.
Overall, not a very good experience. Especially as my first staking experience. I am now back to investing my own money, and I am having more fun doing it.
If I could sum it up in a few words, this stable just lacks professionalism.
Good luck fellow grinders.
I have to agree with this post. I was with the stable for 5 months, starting from the initial trail period and eventually playing all tournaments provided by the stable. I was one of, if not the top volume player on this stake during my time on it. During this period, I received ONE review session, and that was only after a downswing that took me into makeup. It is my thinking that the intentions of this stable are to find players to profit consistently, and cutting loose those that don't, without any effort to improve players.
The lack of communication, from the start, was raising red flags for me. I only heard from one of the supposed leaders of the stable when I got deep in the HR tournament, and almost all messages sent to them were ignored. There were multiple instances of failure to load, and short loads. Also the contact for the loads was ever rude when asked any questions.
Upon agreeing to a time for a second review with the stable "coach", I was accused of being late for the review. This happened because the coach had left the time zone he was in for our first review and had not mentioned that. I received some nasty messages about wasting his time, and the blame was placed on me. About a week after that, after asking for about 3 weeks of the 3 months of HH's to be reviewed, I was not loaded one day, and the contact had deleted me from skype. After some time of messaging everyone I knew on the stake, I learned I had been dropped. Only after harassing them was I given an explanation, via email, about the reasons for this. In about the harshest way possible, I was criticized for certain plays I had made in the HH's they had asked for, and was told they didn't believe I could profit again..
I think it should be known that the stable has a vested interest in the skin on which you are forced to play on, and the stable has the ability to take points, tourney bucks, and money out of your account at any time. I'm not here to bash the stable, and was grateful for the opportunity, but they are very unprofessional, and imo, don't care for anyone they hire, unless they are winning big. They are lazy and have no interest in improving anyone.
I would advise anyone looking for a stake to seriously reconsider applying here, and trying all other possibilities, before agreeing with these people.
I have since been playing and making money on my own, and will never again seek a stake based on my experience here. Good luck all
