I'm looking for a backer for live tournaments. Used to live by Foxswoods and the Sun in Connecticut. I guess I would have been called a grinder. I played in 100's of live tournaments from 2007 to 2012. My last year alone (2012) I was at about 8 final tables (WPT & WSOP) earning $70,000 to $80'000 just at those final tables and if not for some very bad beats at those tables much more. This can all be confirmed online. I'm an above avg live tables player. I moved to South Carolina in 2012 because of work. I have never been backed and have never asked to be backed. I'm not even sure if I am doing this right. Would like to start at Best Bet jacksonville poker room and hopefully end up at the main event 2017. Can start anytime as I am unemployed.

I live in Oakland, CA and last year I had moderate success playing live local MTT's at Livermore Casino, The Oaks Club, The Palace in Hayward and Lucky Chances. The buy-ins range from $65-$230 with most around $100. My favorite was the Lucky Chances daily which costs $120 for the full buy in/rebuy option and guarantees $2500 for 1st place.

I'm not working right now, so I have the time to play these live MTTs as much as I can stand it, but I really don't have the bankroll to play as much as I'd like. Your 60/40 split sounds fair to me.

A little about me. I'm 47 years old and I've been playing hold em since I was 21. Over the last few years, I've really studied the game and I know I've improved. Many times at a tournament, I feel like I'm the best player at the table.

I do have an online account with betonline if you want to go that route, but I'd rather play live.
