Well it's that time of year again that we are all setting goals and getting back on the tables to make it a BIG 2016.

Have you decided what you will do differently this year to improve upon the last? ... getting staked may be your answer.

Why do players get staked? ... some think it's just because they need money to play ... and while that is part of it in some instances and certainly not in others , it goes deeper than that.

Getting staked is about much more than just getting money to play. It's about being part of a community , learning how to work on your game effectively , understanding stop losses , how to take advantage of controlled shot taking , learning BRM skills that will serve you well into the future and developing your mental game and everything that entails.

Staking also helps you hold yourself accountable. The actions required by these things listed build character and are all translatable to everyday life.

When players come out of a good staking experience they have more than just the money that they won at the tables. They have new friends and contacts in the online poker world. Players have new resources & new skills that are now available to them at all times. Players also have access to deals in the online poker world they would not have gained otherwise.

Some also get involved in the Poker Industry and/or Staking as a business. There is as much opportunity off the tables as there is on them for the ambitious.

We are approaching 5 years in business and we have players that have been with us for a very long time. Players that don't need the financial part of the equation, yet they are still here. We also have other players that are no longer staked by C Biscuit Stables that are still a part of our community and they help others with their games. We are very thankful that players stick around and give something back and continue to be involved because of the culture that has been created.

It's not just about what you will get from the experience ... it's also about who you will become. While that may sound a little cliche , it doesn't change the fact that it can be true for you if you make it so.

Like with anything in life ... it takes work to succeed .. there is no free lunch and players have to put in the time to make it happen. We can't do the work for you , but we certainly can put you in a great spot to make sure that you have access to what you need to make it happen ... and we will help you along the way.

If you are looking to make this the year where you turn it up a notch , and develop your whole approach to poker by becoming more well rounded and versed in different aspects of what makes a successful player ... then please let us know.

We are always looking to add players that want to get after it and that won't settle for less than what they want out of Poker.

Hey guys, it's been a long long time since I posted here so I thought I'd drop by

This was my first post in this thread over 4 years ago. For any of you grinders out there considering staking or shopping around for the right staking group, I can say that I was in the same position 4 years ago and this is the group that I decided to go with.

At face value, many of these groups have a lot of similarities and small differences, so making the decision can be somewhat arbitrary, (although its not by chance that this is the largest active staking thread going). Its everything that happens after said choice that will tell you what kind of decision you made;




Now my story is only mine, and everybody's stories happen in different ways with different outcomes, but this is coming from someone with a lot of staking experience, so take it with a grain of salt and hopefully it will benefit you in your decision to be staked, and just as importantly, by whom.

I started out at the bottom of the bottom with a 2nl NLHE FR stake with C Biscuit back in 2011 after getting nowhere in MTTs. I grinded out multiple stakes with C Biscuit all the way from 2nl to 100nl 6m and FR.

Throughout the journey I recieved regular help, encouragement and even coaching from great guys and players like ThePrezence, Orange and Alubar. I can say that I had my fair share of mental game leaks and I was far from the perfect stakee. Things like tilt are part of the game but I came a long way in areas like that with the help of my backers.

Im now 24 years old and I have made a full time career out of poker for the past year, playing mid-stakes cash games while living in one of the highest expense countries in the world (Canada). Ive dedicated thousands of hours in the past 5 years to playing and studying poker, 4 of them while being a part of C Biscuit and I have to say thanks for everything because they are a huge part of where I am in my life right now.





Now it takes a lot of hard work, time and pure dedication to reach your goals in poker, no matter who you are. If you have goals and dreams in poker and want to find the kind of help that can put you in position to accomplish them, then you should seriously consider applying to C Biscuit.
