New Status Levels Introduced Last Night New Status Levels Introduced Last Night

WSOP Bill what do the new status levels mean? Is there any change to the rewards?

Each level has a + level except elite and 7 star.

Still bummed that Elite status gets me nothing extra over diamond at Total Rewards casinos.

I have been diamond status ( diamond + if retroactive ) since WSOP launch every month.

Any updates to the rewards?

I asked about this too, not sure what the difference is with the + signs

They did? They look the same to me.
Question: I just attained Elite level last night but it's still not showing up as my status level this morning. Does anyone know if your status level icon changes to Elite or does it stay diamond? I just want to make sure I'm getting the proper amount of action point multipliers.

Goes to Elite, took about 24 hrs to get displayed in the lobby for me.

It would be cool if you got a higher rakeback % for the month after you hit that the higher tier of the level.

I actually stopped playing completely, made diamond 5 of 6 months wagering endless amounts including blackjack, couldn't get a players card upgrade. If I wagered as much as I did live, I would easily have a host and a much higher upgrade.

The support is better now knumb, you might want to try again on the tier match.

Bump.

The updated program is up and they slashed the rb for silver through diamond. Elite is the same and seven star is slightly higher.

I hate it.

Seriously, the new program is just insulting. I guess this is what happens now that most of the off-shore are out of NJ. At least they didn't increase the rake AGAIN.

This is outrageous. Is it even legal to do that with such short notice? Like the beggining rakeback levels were a joke to begin with. But to now lower them even more?
05-30-2014 , 05:20 PM
Can anyone post a compare in here with before an after? Was there ANY benefit to players with this change?

Top tier is now worth a huge 35% compared to only 30% before!!!
05-30-2014 , 06:12 PM
they pretty much halved the rakeback across the board. platinum was 12%, now 6%. diamond was 15%, now 8-9%. diamond was changed to apps/year now

edit: nvm maybe its a glitch since its showing elite and seven stars as apps/month.

wow this is so pathetic. the sites do things like this and then they wonder why all of their projections for online gaming are so low.

Made the switch from Borgata to WSOP last month because of the reward program.. guess I'm switching back. Dumb. Worst of all it wasn't even announced so they're just taking money away from people without giving them the heads up.

My guess is they'll have to keep rb the same in June. Since that was the promotion they offered in May. Reach a certain status and keep that status for the next month. Then in July the new program would take over.

Its now June 1st, can anybody confirm they are earning at what was advertised last month or are they earning via the new, lower levels? Would check myself but not able to play.

Is it possible this move is only for NJ? It looks like NV tiers are still the same. Also, I don't see any plus signs.

If that's true that's even ****tier. I'm from NJ and the levels are definitely different now. Guess NV > NJ for WSOP?

The reason i started playing more volume on WSOP rather Borgata was for the better rakeback. now that Diamond is slashed to under 10%, how do they really expect to maintain and grow their site? after multitable madness ends there will be 0 reason to play on WSOP.

I really hope 888 now gets better promos because they seem to be the only site that actually has someone reasonable rakeback, its a shame their traffic is so garbage that their better rakeback isn't even obtainable.

NJ taxes on online poker operators are much higher.

It would be nice to get some official comments on the situation this has been posted for a week now

This is correct. NV = 6.75%, while NJ is 15%. That makes a huge difference in terms of money leftover for player rewards. Keep in mind that is just a portion of the licensing costs. There are still initial licensing fees, cost in testing and conforming software to standards, as well as all the legal fees to draw up the docs.

Can someone post the NJ rates? In NV, it is:

Silver: 8%
Gold: 10%
Platinum: 12%
Diamond: 15%
Elite: 20%
Seven Stars: 30%

Also, is WSOP in New Jersey 5.5% rake for all games?
06-01-2014 , 05:17 PM
NJ Rates are:

35% 7 Stars (There is ONE guy who could theoretically get this if he started in January, but he didn't, so this is basically unobtainable)
20% Elite (Most of the 1/2 - 2/4 regular Multi-table group is nearing this level now)
9% Diamond+ (if you are earning 7500APP/mo, seriously, make it 10%)

I don't know the levels below that, but I think its something like
8 diamond
7 platinum+
6 platinum
5 gold+
4 Gold
2 silver
1 Bronze

Rake is 5.5%, capped at $3. The rake is reasonable.

Overall, I really like the NJ WSOP site, but the rakeback drop was pretty steep. Diamond customers are very profitable for WSOP, and to drop them by half on rakeback is a bit much. If they needed to drop it by like 20-25%, I think it would have been easier to swallow for many, but a lot of the regulars were not happy about this change.
