Hi,

I am a new player on wsop.com Nevada.

I deposited once using ACH transfer. Now, every time I open the cashier, my bank's routing number and my bank account number are already on the screen. So...anyone who gets access to my wsop account also has all my bank account info.

Is this not a huge security risk? Since if wsop's network is compromised that means my bank account info is compromised as well?

Don't most sites that accept payments erase that info after each use?

I always thought it was weird how they block out all but last four of CC# but leave all bank info.

I assume if someone got hold of your WSOP account your bank would handle it same as if someone stole your CC info, or hacked some other online account with saved financial info.

I don't think you can actually do more with a CC# then checking/routing number (unless they have your social, that wouldnt be good)

could be wrong though

Anyone you write a check to has all of that info, but yea there's no reason to not asterisk out all but the last 4 digits. In personal details they should probably also asterisk out your birthday since that is useful in identity theft too.

Good point - hadn't thought of that.

I use a separate bank account for online transactions and keep just $100 in it plus any pending ACH. I use it for Paypal and Nevada poker. That way if anyone gets the info they can't get access to my real account. I suggest doing that. My bank let's me do it for free.

I was paranoid exposing this information when first signing up..I buy the $100 mastercard prepaid debit cards at my local smiths grocery store. The only problem with this..there is small activation fee on the card and if you want to withdraw wsop requires various other documents to verify identity.
