Well I guess this is a typical upswing hand when you feel invincible and everything just works.
plays like this at 1-2 gets me depresssed.

My play or his or both? Probably wouldn`t play this way against most others but I knew he is full of sh*t after his donkbets and he would showdown lots of trash. Yeah but I understand that river bet is more than questionable.

Also, I think I read earlier that people think Paul2Tiger is good and I strongly disagree with that.
To be completely honest I think he is better than you.

Not because whether or not its a questionable play, but because of the level of thinking going on at 1-2.

I dont know the history between you 2 and the amount of blind battles you guys go through playing a bunch of the same tables together, but it looks like you both played the hand well.

You both sent a message to each other that your both going to remember and ignore all together.

No SB played that terribly.

I always feel that he sucks, but runs good. So maybe he's better than we both think. It's hard to say. I mean his weird plays make him more difficult to read than bet-bot type lags, but I still think he puts many bets in bad.

Speaking of table chat, all you guys who say "hey" to me at the table, I'm not ignoring you, I've just self-banned my chat as a tilt-control measure.

yeah that K9 vs K8 hand is awful all around. if he plays K8 like that surely he plays KJ/KQ like that. so KQ/KJ vs K8/K7 = don't bet. if you wanna say he calls Q high then i will respond he is probably checkraising you or check calling A high some % of the time on that card. don't bet bluff catchers.

I don't know your whole history, but from seeing stuff in the LC thread I tend to think you are overreacting. You have posted multiple hands in that thread where you clearly misplayed, and you seem to view them as beats, like that hand where you 3bet a bunch of players in the SB with K9o and the one where you capped a bunch of players with A8o. Seth was maybe the first to point out that you misplayed here, but every respected poster who chimed in agreed, and you wanted to dismiss it as 'an opponent specific play that you guys don't understand.' imo this is being very stubborn, and I think it is undebatable that against any lineup thes plays are incorrect.

Anyway I'm kind of rambling here, but to sum up I think Seth might get frustrated that many of your posts feature you making mistakes and then complaining that other players are just running good and that you are really doing great things. I myself have suffered in the past from this mentality, I'd just warn you to be honest with yourself and make sure you aren't falling into this mental trap. I don't think he (or anyone else) has a real personal beef with you.
Did I ever whine about those hands as beats? I just lost taking another shot at 5/10 and posted some funny hands I played. Ya, I would say they are both marginally -EV plays and I was getting too loose, like I always do when I move up and I've admitted to that too. I didn't post them intending to discuss strategy. I never complained about anybody there. I've made an effort not to do that.

This thread is different. We can discuss specific players on Stars. I pointed out some players and I wanted others opinions on them. People are agreeing with me for the most part here.

And I think you're worse than him. Funny how that works out.

p.s. And we are all obviously winning players probably beating that level for at least 2BB/100 and out of the 3 of us each of us probably thinks we are the best.

If you don't think you're the best then you're prolly the worst.

FACT!

The better you think you are, the harder it is to improve.

At least 2? Im at 3.49 over 51243 hands so far this month. And 2.32 over 360487 hands this year, And that's just $1/$2. Why talk **** about winning regulars when you could work / share ideas with them to improve your own game?

Paul plays well. He may seem tight but in reality he just knows how to adjust to different types of tables. Theres nothing wrong with being tight in a table full of loose fish. But when some of the $1/$2 tables are full with 3-4 regs youll be surprised the way he changes play.

interesting theory. What do people think about displaying Supernova or Elite at 10/20+. It seems like it could let medium to bad players game select a bit, but it could gain you some respect in certain spots which couldn't hurt.

Same question for tournies. I'm debating if I want to wear the black ribbon once I hit elite.

I'm not exactly impressed with Paul2Tiger either fwiw
My notes on him so far:

bet/call - calldown IP HU with QQ on lowcard board
donks HU w/flopped straight
checks behind TPTK K on relatively scary river
bluffs turn/river OOP multiway when flop checks through
3bet/call turn when picks up backdoor flushdraw
3bet 77 vs btn steal, then bet/3bet Ahi flop, cbet K Turn, c/c K river

...
