wow heis you really owned him on a lot of those hands. I'm gonna have to start putting in 4SB + 2/3 BB on the turn with any top pair, and also turn float my Q hi hands, cause thats how to get the monies it appears.

I don't know, but I don't mind having him at my tables, although it does lead to variance. It's the same with Hkornfeld. They both can be frustrating when they are bloating pots and hitting hands though.

I had a revelation playing against HKornfeld, he spews and bluffs so much in HU pots that he's actually really easy to play against. I either find my way to an easy showdown or c/r and call down his inevitable 3-bet, you really can't go wrong unless you fold to him. Of course the days when he always has it he seems tough.

Oh snap, almost same exact story for me. Except this last go-around I just used my leftover FPPs to enter satellites and parlayed into micro SNGs. Now I'm getting back in the .50/1 6max game with 500 BBs (I don't think I could operate on 200 BB). Not sure how long it will take before I tilt off the block though...

is he down in your DB?

in my books he is up big time over a huge sample size

New stars upgrade is pretty neat. I used the "always buy in for $XXX" feature so I now start with 50BB instead of 20BB at every table. It helps with tilt so far, now I feel like I'm running good all the time!
09-03-2008 , 01:05 AM
uhh, where is that feature?

I know you posted this a while back, but are you sure this is me? I'm DaveD123. The first hand, I dunno it may have been reads based on one of you, but I think you still missed value with a set. I mean I pay off oversets assuming I'm best. The second hand I dunno what happened, maybe tilt (honestly I don't really tilt all that much, it may have been a misclick originally that I decided I had to follow through with).

By the way I'd appreciate any feedback people have on my play. I've been running AWFUL the last month or so. I appreciate you saying I'm solid though.

In hand 1 my turn 3-bet range beats AA 100%, the only hands you should ever have to cap the turn are 99 and KK, I think my play was correct. My calls were crying calls there I really didn't expect to win.

I'm really just messing with you cause you called me spewy or something, I have like 5k hands on you and I found probably the 2 worst. I'm sure people could post some embarrasing hands I played if they wanted to.

I self-chatbanned myself last night in an attempt to get things under control. I also got completely ignored by CS when I asked them to turn my damn doomswitch off.

Preventative measure to save mice?
09-03-2008 , 07:17 PM
No, mice-smashing is independent of chat berating, I just realize that when I start throwing barbs back and forth I stop focusing on actually playing well

Good thing I can get mice free from work, but then again that probably just enables me to smash more. It's a vicious cycle

I loled that time you told me to go post a hand on 2p2 so I could see how terrible I played it I remember I was having such a bad day that day and that made it slightly better.

FWIW I never respond to anything unless its like a 2p2er or someone being friendly. Hell, I often get distracted by just that since I usually play 5-6 tables.

Free mice from work?
09-03-2008 , 08:32 PM
5/T is runing good, probably in the next week i will be playing T/20. The players are alot better !?

In which level the players are getting really better !?

thanx in advanced

30 60 is the limit where I decided that it would be a good idea to have money on more than 1 site.

Yeah I know you're messing with me posting that, I'm not really sure what happened there. By the way the only call you make in that first hand is after it had been capped, and then on the river. My point is the only thing you're scared of on the river is an overset. That's so rare that I pay it off every time. Even then 99 shouldn't really be in my capping PF range, so you're really only scared of exactly 1 hand.

you're talking about 2p2 to each other in the chat (at a table with fish)?
09-03-2008 , 10:14 PM
Ah gotcha, I'm a little slow today. There was no discussion about it, just the one remark and I think you would have had to already know what 2p2 is to decipher it.
