I am interested if somebody can tell me the difference in rake at 5/T SH between Stars and ipoker. I think the difference in rake gets significantly smaller at that limit.

I would like to play 5/T at Stars but I think I am better off at ipoker with a very good rakeback deal because you don`t pay that much more rake.

But I would like to verify that. So if you could please post how much rake you pay I can do the math.

I think on Ipoker there are tons of really super nitty, weak tight fit-or-foldish 10tablers with massive and way less loose passive players than on Stars. Stars has for sure the better games but RB on Ipoker is massive with a bunch of people having like 60% RB. If you are a 1BB/100 winner on Ipoker whilst having such a great deal its pretty close imo.

Whilst I certainly would agree with the rake being a massive issue on stakes like 2/4 and 3/6 I dont know how it works out at 5/10.

I'd say it's still a difference in rake because:
1)if you play at 5/10+ you are already at least PlatinumStar and get good enough $/VPP
2)5-handed the max rake at PS is 2$, at iPoker is 3$
3)still quite a few pots aren't bigger than 70$ so you pay less rake(someone with a big enough DB can tell us how many hands don't reach the 70$ mark

But until 5/10 I'd say it's a big mistake(in rake) to play on iPoker(I played 2/4 there myself until doing the math)

so, i understand that play at ipoker is a mistake for th rake... but on ipoker, 1-2 limit are there more fish than stars 1-2?

at 1/2 there is plenty of fish on any site so I'd recommend PS or FT where the rake is much lower for Limit(+on FT you get rakeback too)

Very first hand I played against him I floated him on the turn in a blind battle AxxA board and I had T5s. I showed him the bluff when he c/f river, and since then hes been playing me pretty mental.

yeah his stats are a bit too tight and he plays too many tables, but I've always thought his advice on live Bay101 hands was top-notch and he certainly has gotten the best of me in the 30 as of late.

im really not sure but i'm wondering if perhaps he is one of the best players at my limits on stars, even tho he plays pretty weird (openlimping and stuff).

btw, today I openlimped in HJ on purpose for the first time! wowowow that game was incredible. 50/5 on my left and 70/40 on his left (this is filtered for 5-6 handed)

Leaks aside, Nemo is still someone I truly hate having to my immediate left. Pretty solid LAGTAG when he wants to be and I'm pretty sure he does well in the 30/60 game.

T-Time I've played HUHU, can't say I was impressed. I only have a tiny sample on him at 6-max but seems a bit on the tighter side.

While we're shouting out names. thelabeler.. my god.. 3k hands in my db at 15/30 and running at over 7BB/100. It's just nuts. 47% W$WSF and 47/56 showdown stats. small samples... small samples

Does somebody know why Marchinvest stopped playing 10/20 and 15/30 and went on to Xtable the 5/10 with > 3333$ on each table?
It seeems like he wants us to know that the reason for playing 5/10 cant be that he is busto.

I (I am not thelabeler) was running at 17 BB/100 over my first 2.4k hands at 15/30 and am still above 12 BB/100 after my first 4k hands.

15/30 is cool
