FYI I recognize the name TheActionKid from somewhere probably higher stakes, can't tell you a thing about him as that's all my memory bank seems to have.

i just did the same thing for my name and I came across some old forum posts by some tool calling himself tryptamean. he was asking about making a bunch of multiple accounts to take advantage of bonuses. that makes me angry that someone else is tarnishing my online persona

LOL I am honestly as shocked as I can remember being in a long, long time.

Apparently he's a coach at some kind of training site. 6 figures worth of online winnings and he plays 1k SNG's.

He honestly played so ridiculously awful. Absurdly tight, folded way too much and was super transparent and easily readable when he had any kind of a hand. Plus he berated me in chat over and over again over hands that most on this forum would call standard.

I'm so confused, I honestly think he may have been acting like an idiot on purpose to try to trick me into playing him at 30/60 or something.

Stak
Or he's just someone that primarily plays donkaments but occasionally splashes around LHE games.

I don't have a huge DB at 30/60, but I think I've played a fair amount of hands against just about every regular at that level, and I don't have one single hand against this guy. His play was probably genuine.

In the help section of the pokerstars lobby it says intellipoker signup. Launch Poker School and Intellipoker password. I can't click on any of those links. Does anyone know what this is all about?

Bumping to page one with a question:

Is it Boris Becker playing under screen name "TennisSt@r"? Registered in Berlin and I've played him at 3/6 and 5/T.

No it's the next Boris Becker but it's not the man himself.

After reading the Absolute thread, we really need to spice up this thread. We can't let them win with all of the drama. Seriously.

There's this one "T V " regular on Stars who plays a lot. He's the most passive player in most games.

Does anyone have any thoughts on him? Is he winning? I think somewhere earlier in this thread people mentioned he was the biggest winner in their dbs. I'm inclined to believe he at least breaks even, and he does it with stats normally reserved for passivefish.

There must be things to be learned to improve our own games from figuring out how he manages to keep himself afloat in the 10/20 games

Maybe it's because a lot of TAG and LAGTAG regulars give nits too much action in addition to all of the other fish that he makes money from.

No, the two capitalized letters in his username are T V
05-14-2008 , 11:54 AM
what are his stats?

anyway, I took passive lines much more often at 10/20 because so many of the regs and fish are bad aggro, prone to barreling off, bluffing in bad spots etc. however, i don't think it affected my total AF too much over all.

I still think people are making conclusions from small insignificant sample sizes. Maybe his style can win 0BB/100 long term, I really don't know. I know you know how bad a good player can run over 25k+ hands, so it's not crazy to think a player with a -EV style can run hot over the same.

Example:
I have 919 hands on this guy and he's up $294 at 10/20
I have 2,775 hands on nWooch at the same level, who in my db is down $964. Is almost 3k hands enough to determine nWooch is a losing player? Obviously not since we all know he isn't.
