he regularly makes completely fishy and ******ed plays and on top of that in the last 1-2 months he is donking into me heads up or 3 handed like 5 times an hour. That's like 5 times more than any other sne's misclick-donkbets. but whatever mr self proclaimed best player in the country.

Maybe he has a note that you play very poorly when donked in to. Expert ownage by him, even while playing a billion tables?

fwiw I have no idea who you are talking about, but its always worth examining the possible merits of a play that appears bad on the surface, especially when it comes from a winning player. In fact, I think this is one of the best ways to learn about the game and improve as a player.

I rarely play on Stars, played the other day and funny enough I remember thtalker called from the bb with AJ to my button raise, donked his flopped top pair and I called down with KK. He just made it cheaper for me to show it down and he shouldn't have much history to "find holes in my game". Also I cbet the flop almost all the time, so I think he should check raise and this was simply a bad play.

Thats why I bolded a part of your post... I just think its funny how a few people on here always make fun of rakeback pro´s, that have a way better hourly than themselves. If he makes much more than you/h, he's just likely to be better. Don't be so cranky.

he has almost exactly 10x more hands on ptr than I do and he has made 50% more pre rb
so yeah he is certainly better
at grinding his ass off
which I agree is a useful skill but lol at him being good at poker

idk if a tag donk-3bets the flop I'll usually put him on a monster and be much more careful than vs a cr, so he gains 3sb on the flop and 1 on the turn instead of cring flop and b/3betting turn or c/r/capping flop.

How many tables does this guy play? Is it possible he has chosen a default strategy of donking instead of c/r'ing so that he can cut down the required APM?
