Hi, this is my first post, I play on PokerStars at 0.50 / 1, I am a bit stuck on the level, some advice from those who bear more time for $ 0.50 / $ 1 SH? . Greetings

Am I just running insanely bad (as I feel like)? I mean is it even really possible to be winner, or marginal loser with 48% won showdowns?

The games are mainly 1/2 to 5/10.

your most likely just running bad, your gonna get a lot of hate saying your terrible, but this is most likely just variance.

Its more likely a combination of running bad and either tilting or not playing your best. You should not lose 1400 bets in 30k hands.

AnoDonk,

You play way too many hands pf. Without positional stats it's hard to say want other leaks you have, but I'm sure there are a number. My advice would be to stick to 1/2 and aim for 30 - 35% VPiP and 20-25% PFR.

Burriko,

It looks like you play ok for .5/1. To move higher though successfully, you'll need to loosen up a little pf and postflop. Again position stats would help, but mostly you should probably post some hands.

leader, those are 4handed stats he said
10-27-2010 , 09:35 PM
heh...well then he needs to post position stats because I don't think there are many people that know what 4 handed stats are supposed to look like. Or maybe there are and I'm just not one of them.

does anyone know how many hands you approximately get at 6max vs full ring?

60/90 roughly.

I appreciate all the feedback.

You might be be too loose.. just my guess. Or start folding more postflop. Just my guess. Basically your stats look fine but hard to say.

E:

oh wow didn't even noice until dragon pointed out.. you're pretty darn loose in the blinds.. esp SB looks way too loose.

E2:

nevermind, must be lots of huhu.. filter for 3-4 players
10-28-2010 , 06:26 AM
please filter your stats. how can you have 9.7 k hands in the blinds and only 4.2 on the button

you use hem, therefore you should filter for number of players between 3 and 6 for 6max

Here are all the 3-6 player hands on my new computer.

I thank Jesse for leading me to do this analysis. Apparently I suck at 6 handed and need to stop playing it...But it makes sense because for me to play a 3 handed game, there has to be at least one terrible player, which is the same criteria I use for my 6 handed games...good thing I get rakeback for all my 6 handed play.

These are my stats at 2/4 and 3/6 since December 2009. I played about 40k hands of 1/2 6max up through April, so I am not as lazy as it looks But I didn't want to include those since it includes none of my recent play.

That's pretty interesting actually. All I got

Anodonk.. you're way too loose in sb. If you've been pro since 2003 you should know that it's not the spot over defend

2 things jump out. You open to light. top 24% UTG includes hands as weak as K6s, T8s, K9o.... While some players open these hands UTG, I wouldn't even consider it, and you have to be quite good post flop to do so. If your getting killed in these games you are likely making mistakes post-flop.

Secondly, your getting crushed in the blinds, which is more than likely the reason for your large downswing. The discrepancy between your VPIP and PFR in the SB is pretty large. Although I made similar comments in an old thread and was pretty much told I was an idiot and wrong, you should be closer to 44/40 then to 44/30.

I think those numbers are on the big blind scale. In big bets the numbers would be cut in half an be very standard and quite possible for someone with a positive winrate.

You're either on the worst run in history or you've got a significant amount of leaks, most likely the latter. After 1000 BB lost I would have really started to worry about my game. I don't think fixing your stats is going to completely solve your problem, you've probably got a lot to learn about LHE in general. Keep posting and analyzing hands and in time you'll get better.
