So this is the Swedish national poker network, right? How's the action there or should I just extrapolate this from your hand posts? ;-)

The reason I'm curious is that Finns have started to speculate on having our own (I guess) private poker network.

Yeah is the pokernetwork owned by the government. This hand was from 10/20 SEK approx $2/4 and there a lot of limping is going on. The action is pretty different from the major networks. There is no rakeback or bonuses and you can play max 5 tables. Because of that its almost clinical free of grinders. The games are genereally loose/passive preflop wich gives you the opportunity to see a lot of free flops from BB. Postflop there are a lot of former NL-players that think its the same to 7-bet a FD on the flop as betting the pot in a NL-game.

I wouldn't say the players are bader than on other sites, its just laggier and that suits me fine. Also the game is 5-handed wich is great IMO. Playing 6-max at FTP feels like FR for me after playing SvS.

just out of curiosity, what is the highest limit that runs regularly?

Question for the guys here who also play NL:

Do you use aggression frequency instead of factor? Has anyone tried it out in NL?

Wait a minute...but who taught you?!?!

Congrats Danzasmack! Nice work!
05-14-2008 , 05:53 PM
Thanks Joe! You taught me well!

BTW the sick thing people may not have seen - the tournament was about 9 hours long. For about 7-8 hours of it I was in the bottom 10 in chips. I had ~1k chips when the blinds were 500/1k.

I get 8554 single suited in the sb in O8. UTG opens, BTN 3-bets and i call all in.

The flop is QJ2r. UTG c/c. The turn is a Q and the river is a J. The action on both streets is bet/call.

And I scoop.

What a crazy game.

If you are a 23/16 who only 3 bets his premium out of the sb and nearly doesn't double barrel i wont be raising many, if any, hands that doesn't beat tpgk on that turn given the flop c/c.
