So I got Dexter season 6 for xmas. I figure it can't possibly be worse than Dexter season 5. I am through 4 episodes, and omg it really ****ing blows. If things don't turn around soon, this has the potential to be even worse than season 5.

Was really hoping for a badass Dexter marathon tonight. How did the writers **** this show up so bad?

How low do you have to be to angleshoot the "10 items or less" line? I was in Walmart today, it was pretty busy, and a husband and wife got in the 10 items or less line with a bunch of stuff in their cart. At the register, the wife put 10 items on the counter and paid. Then the husband put the rest of the stuff on the counter and the wife paid again.

Dexter season 6? Boy you got ****ed
Watch the last episode only, so you will be able to watch season 7 which is a whole lot better imo, season 6 ****ing sucks, it's the worst season ever

I wanted to see it because I keep hearing that season 7 is awesome.

I actually ended up really liking it, can't complain. Episodes 3-4 were really stupid though. Glad it got a lot more cynical and blasphemous, was really getting worried.

Season 5 still sucks balls though.

In the town I live in, there's a busy road that has two lanes. One is for buses only (clearly marked). Stupid in itself because there's hardly any buses that go down that road. But anyways, some people will drive down the bus lane past a long line of cars in the other lane, then wave to get let in, and of course the people in the other lane will be polite and let them in. So basically the people in the bus lane are jumping the queue in front of 20 other cars, and the people in the busy lane are helping them do it by letting them in.

Just once I'd like to see all the cars in the busy lane refuse to let in the queue-jumper and all give 'em the finger as they drove by for good measure.

My fondest memory of my grandfather occurred in the 10 items or less lane at a grocery store. He was probably holding 5 items in his hands, put them on the conveyor belt, and this guy comes rushing in with a loaf of bread. He elbows my grandfather aside, getting in front of us. My grandfather goes: "wtf do you think you're doing?" "I'm in a hurry and I only have 1 item," he says. My grandfather looks at him in disbelief, takes his loaf of bread, and hurls it as far as he can back into the aisles and says, "Now you have no items."

**** man, every single ****ing time I play live I get casino plague. Pretty sure it's just a mild cold, but it happens literally every time. Live poker would be a lot cooler if I didn't have to feel like **** for a week after every trip.

Yep. I used to get sick literally every time. The last 4 or 5 trips I've been fine, though. Could just be variance, but my good health HAS coincided with my becoming really cautious in casinos. Every hour or so, I get up to smoke a cigarette, and I invariably use the occasion to wash my hands. I try to remember to wash before smoking, although occasionally I forget, only to recognize it mid-smoke and go on tilt. I don't know if I'm actually doing anything helpful with this, but it at least makes me feel better.

If you work at home then it´s quite normal for you to get sick the times when you spend extended amounts of time around a lot of new people. The lack of cleanliness is probably a factor but dwarfed by the number of new disease vectors ur encountering.

LOL, your grandfather is my hero and I've never even met him.

a guy pulled a similar move at a masspike toll booth. I wasn't having any of it and we battled in an awesome slow paced chicken-like game for the position. looking back at my life this was a pretty big win.

seems like a good strategy. My understanding is your most likely to pick up a bug by touching something contaminated then touching your mouth or nose, so I'd try to keep my hands away from my face as well.

I pretty much deserved to get sick this time. I didn't want to stop playing, so I was eating while I played. This is prolly fine, but I handled rolls/bread a few times with my bare hands. If I'm gonna eat while I play, I need to make sure I pick up my bread with a napkin.

And ya, my immune system is prolly **** from not working a real job for so long. But still pretty annoying that ppl go around giving each other rim jobs and stuff without getting sick while I can't seem to handle live poker.

Oh, and I just noticed Terrence Chan won another fight on Dec 7. He was on a completely different level than his opponent.... hoping he finds some tougher competition in 2013!

Hm these american poker rooms are really weird places. I finally understand why La Peste switched to live poker though.

so im finally done getting settled into my new place in the city and i figured it was time to kidnap the family pet pretty much for good. bear loves it here but this is her first dose of urban dwelling and she isn't fully accustomed to the changes brought on by city life.

today we were walking down one of the busier streets of the city headed for lunch when a firetruck goes flying by. Pretty sure this was the dog's first exposure to sirens irl (or at least at close range) because she just took off full speed after the bloody thing! it all happened so fast and of course i was holding the leash with my non clicking hand (the weak one) and i wasn't able to keep my grip...an emergency vehicle followed suit and then two cop cars with my doggie in frantic pursuit down the middle of Hipster Ave! Would have been a hilarious video, but even if i had brought my phone i was too preoccupied trying to make sure she didn't get hurt, and thankfully she came back after about a half block or so.

not sure if that was really post worthy but irl it was def worth watching.

Are you in America? I haven't been keeping up on this thread. Just had an epic 350BB downswing live, which is insane because I never had one of that size online and the game I am playing in sick soft.

Can't always run like La Peste.

Can somebody tell me the point of subscribing to a thread? As far as I know, all it does is e-mail you whenever a new post is up. Do other people check their e-mail like 50 times a day?
