Villan is a 45/20 agg 1.5 over 4.6K hands

- He defends BB 69%
- Only CR flop 5%
- Folds to cbet flop 42%

Is the turn check a mistake ?

Calling river is standard ?

Bet the turn as played call river.

If you get raised on the turn it's a decision. If you have 4.6k hands on your opponent you should know if he is capable of bluff raising you here and act accordingly.

Snap call as played.

I prefer a b/f on the turn, but w/e.

Yea b/f turn, I probably check back river if I get called on the turn.

*g*

if you check the turn, it should be because youre commited to calling the river. im wondering if youve successfully induced a bet from a Tx that might have folded if you bet the turn A.

im wondering if b/f the turn is better. if we get raised on the turn and we're sure he has Ax or Kx, we dont really have odds to draw to 6outs. then again, a worse hand will have a tough time calling, so checking the turn with the intention of calling 100% of rivers is probably best.

Yeah I play the hand the same way you did. If he only c/r the flop 5% of the time, that pretty much means he waits til the turn with all of his made hands and you should be getting c/r'ed a ton. Turn the Ten into a smaller card and I'm happy to just barrel away and fold if he raises because we have almost no equity, but the gutterball is really important and makes me want to see the river.

You're going to have about 4 or 5 outs on average on the turn. That's worth ~0.3BB. Unless betting the turn has some other major advantage over checking the turn and calling a river bet, check the turn.

I b/f turn. If the action goes b/c and BB lead river I would call or fold, not sure (I think I would call since you pay 1 BB to get 6 and the opponent is somehow aggressive).

I think betting the turn has the big advantage that you get all the straight draws out. You pay as much as you would calling a river bet. Raise turn of villian suggests you are most likely beaten (as long as you do not have other reads).

Call in the given situation.

I like the turn value check & call river.

An aggro villain could c/r bluff the A (scarecard) turn with a flush or straight draw.

if you plan to fold to a turn raise, then its better check turn and call any river UI
