This may not work because it is nearly impossible to properly decline a seat right now. We've talked about this a lot in the past few pages. But ya, I agree. if they can make it easier to properly decline your seat, this should be awesome.

Yes, something has to happen at the smaller stakes too!

What is "King of the Hill"?

I mean the very first prompt, where you'll typically click "yes" if you want to check out the table. So if you completely ignore that dialog box, then it should take you off the waitlists. The inability to easily decline a seat after you've clicked yes is a huge pain, but it seems to be beyond the comprehension of Pokerstars Steve.

****ing haaaaaate the idea of king of the hill. all this bull**** idiots are complaining about is irrelevant. Now they implement a system that benefits the very best players. Yeah makes perfect sense.

Assuming all goes well, we will roll it out to lower stakes, but the limit on non-dealing tables per type might be higher than 1 at much lower stakes.

We have evaluated this frequent suggestion thoroughly. After close examination, we see problems with its implementation. One such problem is figuring out what to do when a multi-tabler times out on a table.

We will be removing the ability to sit out on a non-dealing table, likely within the next month or two.

As far as players sitting out on tables that are still dealing, we do have rules covering certain such situations which we enforce manually in response to complaints. The problems that might be seen on other sites now were once quite present at PokerStars as well. Our enforcement of our rules, while not perfect, has already resulted in improvements in the situation.

And I am now like 0 for 50 on getting Stars to acknowledge any of my suggestions about improving the games via email or the forums. But I will not give up! That's right PokerStars Steve, I am going to keep trying to make PokerStars a better place for everyone no matter how many times you guys ignore me! I will not go away! I cannot be stopped! Get used to me!

Don't want to jump to conclusions too soon, but it does seem there's more action at high stakes now.

Please do so immediately, now that I try to get action of the reg that is occupying the 1 seat available at 15/30 and 30/60, they often wont play but refuse to stand up; instead they keep sitting in the magic seat to exploit the system further till another player joins, then insta-sit in with them in the button.

Did they implement King of the Hill at 5/10-10/20 overnight? it looks like they might have, either that or i'm going crazy.
05-14-2013 , 02:38 PM
It looks like it. There's no 'table starter' though.
05-14-2013 , 11:23 PM
really love the change. already seem a lot more reg vs reg head up battle. thank you pokerstars for listening
05-15-2013 , 12:32 AM
Pokerstars successfully killing the game, gg
05-15-2013 , 01:08 AM
care to explain? I mean unless you are one of the reg that sit at billiiiion of table and instant sit out when it fill up. please share your ideas on making the game better. maybe we should add 15/30+ huhu table just for you and banned any reg from sitting at your table will that help make the game better?
05-15-2013 , 03:20 AM
they should certainly add higher stakes hu tables, for every game and every stake.

that, coupled with these changes, will cut down on a ton of the shenanigans

could see some merit in 4max tables but as long as hu is there im satisfied.

Hey guys, I'm strictly a FR limit player but glad to have stumbled onto this thread. Interested in discussion of how to promote LHE to the masses, playing FR LHE is like being a ****ing jedi knight, a 'sad devotion to an ancient religion'.
05-16-2013 , 01:17 AM
are other reg. reporting pinkfoxx? he constantly sit at a bunch of 6 max and FR will play his btn and leave against reg. he been doing this for so long and not getting punish.

You can write about him in that thread
But yeah, just report asap. As one of the reps said, we are making a mistake of not reporting as many times as possible.

We already lower the Table Cap of players who meet these criteria, and as mentioned I will be looking into being harsher on players who are acting too slowly going forward.

I will take a closer look into this as part of my efforts to better address slow players in LHE, but I’m unlikely to share any of the resulting numbers in public.

Again, specific examples of screen names that you feel have been getting away with breaking the rules would be helpful. Anyone can feel free to PM me with any player they think is breaking the rules and has been getting away with it despite being reported, and I will take a look into their case.

Great news Nick

As for king of the hill, it has a glitch where it spawns a new table when the original KotH table starts dealing. When the original table stops dealing, you get booted while the new table (often a player looking for anything but a 6max game) stays. It should be the last opened non-dealing table that shuts down.

What he said.

I don't think it's a glitch. It would be weird if the player who wants to start a new game just randomly gets booted.

KOtH implented. Great. But look at this post from piranha:

What's the point in KOtH if you can just sitout lol?
I mean yeah, they are going to remove siting out at non-dealing tables in 2 months, but still...
