i dont remenber the last time a made a sucessfull 3 barrel bluff on 0.5/1
and i wouldnt bet a river by default but you are getting 6 to 1 on a bluff and the river is a scary card and the flush misses.

what may be his bet/calling range on that flop? I think it's safe to assume that it's pairs and flush draws, some Ahis but if he is a real 50c/1$ nit he might fold his Ahis on the turn except the nut fd, and if he doesn't then he has no reason to fold the river either. If he has a pair he didn't fold on the flop, the King should not be scary for him since you already represented a made hand on the flop and he still decided to call you twice, the K should not change anything if he has something like A6 or 88, he's showing down. I think the only better hands you fold out is Ahi flushdraws if he folds them, and JsTs. So I check and hope he checks behind something like 98s or T7s.

If you cr this flop I think you commit yourself to betting this river. A5 and A3 makes sense and so does some fd's that busted.

question is, is he willing to fold his Ahis?
I wouldn't worry about folding the flus draws, I think the river check would look like a defensive check because of the K and it looks like we are willing to c/c do he might not bluff them, and we are ahead of all of them except JsTs and the Ahi flushdraws

if he isnt capable of folding a h we shouldnt think about raising the flop in the first place imo.

Obv he is gonna look us up sometimes with A high. But thats a killer card for him so I think its worth it. (Edit: No it isnt really, but its a card that will make many weak players fold their A high)

And it does matter with fd's, both the A high ones, JsTs and the ones we beat. Because if check and fold he takes away the pot when we could have won it.

Also if he never folds A high on 5th then I dont think we have a profitable 3 barrel, but then I agree with larm regarding the flop cr

Thanks guys. I suspected this was a standard river bet. This guy was something like 25/15 so I think the flop c/r is fine.
