I'm not aware of such things here. The UK and Sweden have very different histories re. immigration, as you know, and consequently the UK has had many more decades of integration.

I'm beginning to think that much of this is down to white Swedes not being used to multiculturalism and making a complete mess of a few things.

I think you are on to something! I would however argue that the Swedish left is making a complete mess of many things.

Many of us have had a a different outlook and solutions to immigration and integration. Leftists have been pulling the strings for awhile, but the pendulum is swinging. I hope to remain objective in the future if the pendulum swings too far the other way. Groupthink and all the emotional reactions that come with it lead to polarization and hate. We have a difficult time ahead, but I am sure rationality will prevail.

I don't really like the term racially homogeneous, but we had a substantial non European population a couple of years ago(10-15%?)

short answer: Nationalism and our flag has become something to be ashamed of, for example our politicians shy away from speaking in front of the Swedish flag since for some weird reason it is seen as divisive.

There is even cultural denialism among the left. It is absurd, since we have such an old and rich culture and a lot to be proud of IMO.

As an example, the former leader of the Social Democrats, Mona Sahlin, had this to say about Swedish culture.

I think that's what makes many Swedes jealous of immigrant groups. You have a culture, an identity, a history, something that brings you together. And what do we have? We have Midsummer's Eve and such silly things.

People who suffer actual racism want an end to racism...

People who suck at being economically useful, who suck at being responsible parents (your single parent graphic is shocking), who suck at being responsible citizens, want grievances so they have an excuse to go looting and blame someone else. Grievance is diversion therapy for self-induced failure.

The dynamic isn't hard to understand. MLK would go nowhere today, because there's no meaningful racism left.
