This is just out of curiosity. Is it possible that the 2 major political parties have interns or even hirer people just to post non stop negative nonsense about the other political party? I am asking this because every article i read on anything remotely politically tied….. The comments are non stop garbage Obama this Liberal this Conservative that/.……. and on and on…I just saw a video of MSNBC showing Sheldon Adelson lobby techinques….. and their was not one comment criticizing Adelson….. It just seems like every top comment is some one sentence polictard nonsense with astronomical amount of likes….. I can not imagine average people being sucked into this nonsense.

It's possible, but that would be a waste of money as there are plenty of people willing to do it for free on their own initiative.

Thats why i said interns….I bet their are tons of college interns/volunteers that work for free on political campaigns that just sit in front of a computer all day bashing the other side…..

The practice is called astro-turfing.

In theory, it only takes a few 'turfers' to start a meme that regular netizens, who agree with the message, will defend or share. Get the ball rolling and then let other people push it for you.

It's pretty standard that people are more likely to speak up if they have something negative to say.
