Is this what the NFL needs? (Michael Sam UNCHAINED) Is this what the NFL needs? (Michael Sam UNCHAINED)

If your kids are bothered by two dudes kissing it's because somewhere along the way you/society taught them that there was something weird about it. Nobody's problem but your own that you raised a little bigot.

What you do have is an opportunity to use this as an example, and to correct things.

Or you could just keep being a hate filled sack of crap, and raising kids that will be the same, but man it's going to suck for them growing up in a world that correctly marginalizes people who hold their point of view.

It's overkill and out of place. Too much of a spectacle.

You came out, great, awesome. Most people are cool with that, including me. You let ESPN in your house knowing they wanted to see you kiss your boyfriend, not because you are a top talent prospect. Lame.

Yet to meet a child who had a problem with kissing, unless they were told to have a problem with kissing.

"Teaching" 'the kids' shallow contentious prejudice and to reject legitimate human behavior such as affection serves what end? To encourage them to become emotionally ignorant, mentally rutted people likely to be correctly called *******s or worst? Childhood "innocence".

Why are people bigots? What makes a bigot? How does child grow up to be a bigot? How does a grown person stop being a bigot? Can SM2 answer these questions?

A simple peck on the lips, something so mundane you likely wouldn't even notice if it was a man and a woman is "a spectacle?".

Russell Wilson's soon to be ex-wife freaked out when he was drafted and KISSED A DOG. That's a spectacle. Oddly it was only reported as whimsey.

Another one for the "bigots are really stupid" file:

http://thebiglead.com/2014/05/10/cas...-sam-coverage/

I understand the bigotry more than I understand being unaware of how a tweet like that will be received.

Stuff like this is why I never buy the "don't yell at racists, they'll just learn to hide their racism" argument (one of the reasons at least). Nah- they really won't. They're just not that bright.

Or a gay bar I'd be ready but I was in my own head I had to get my car fixed get groceries look up wham there it is. Two dudes huge beards going at it. What am I supposed to do to make me a not homophobe???? Cheer them on?? Yea get em Jonny play with his chest hair!!!! I just wasn't ready.
If I see two guys a an outdoor cafe making out….guess what? I don't have to view them doing that 94 times in the next 3 days.

Dids,

Interesting how some folks are acting like babies, like you dids, who is putting cartoon pictures here on two plus two of two people(who both just happen to be men) kissing each other to try and make some sort of statement. What are you doing sir?

I noted your unfair views of Brunei, and your views of how Muslim men get to wear jeans and gold chains while the women are covered head to toe, you literally said this in another thread.

Its ok for folks to defend homosexuality, but I feel your talking things to another level and getting away from a good conversation.

WHY DID THE DRAFTEE LET ESPN IN LIKE LITERALLY EVERY OTHR DRAFTEE THEY ASKED
05-12-2014 , 08:43 PM
kid,

Spell it out for us. Why should we care in particular that kids may have seen two dudes kissing on a braodcast that is well-known to feature heterosexual kissing?

But in a "shameless" or better yet, pathetic fashion, the show shameless has a subplot which includes a 19 y/o guy dating a 13 y/o, and its seemingly fine in the show. Now imagine what the wrong group of people could do with that, folks will say, hey look at this show which champions gay rights, they also show how a pedophile is not a bad guy.

Because it was staged.

ESPN went there to video them kissing.

Sam and his boy toy were making a political statement when we want to hear about sports and how he will pan out in the NFL not see him deep throat his boy toy.

Other than name players like Boyd who a lot of people know, ESPN doesn't go into the homes of 7th rounders to see the family's reaction and celebration.

And when a dude kisses a chick in celebration of being drafted and it is caught on tape, they don't replay that kiss 545 more times.

Maybe I dont watch ESPN enough, what are some examples of ESPN regularly showing gay couples kissing?

BTW, Whats with this whole spell it out thing?

Anyway, My answer to your question is, Who am I to judge? The facts are the folks at ESPN are in control of what they decide to air, I dont have any influence on what they air but I'm allowed to have a viewpoint on what ESPN airs.

I would say it doesn't matter what you or I think about two men kissing on camera. That being said, I could lose my career if this was a real life public setting and I said the wrong thing irt my answer. Its absurd to put people on the spot with the question of do you think its ok for two guys to kiss in pubic, and then if they say no, you can yell and scream at them, or fine them, or demote them.

Also, what about Tim Tebow, maybe folks who make fun of Tebow for his religious convictions should be screamed at or fired from there jobs?

The whole world needs a better approach to life. Pope Francis is one go to guy for good advice, IMO.

None of those things have anything to do with kids, though. Even if I grant that they're about kids, kids see staged kisses all the time on prime time TV. Michael Sam was a name player, too. He was SEC defensive player of the year, and he was the first publicly out football player in the draft. He is becoming a household name. And Russell Wilson's reaction to getting drafted has been shown hundreds of times.

Apparently to SM2, Michael Sam is The Most Interesting Man In The World. And SM2 is the Most Uninteresting Bigot On Two Plus Two.

Wilson's reaction has been shown so much because his wife looked like a monster in her reaction.

It was about as staged for publicity as when Obama has a SOTU address and his wife sits next to the victim of some thing the are trying to politicize.

ESPN didn't go to Russell Wilson's home explicitly for a kiss with his fiancé.

I think we all know why SM2 felt a little uncomfortable...

http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/...-gay-male-porn

Quote:
When viewing lesbian sex and straight sex, both the homophobic and the non-homophobic men showed increased penis circumference. For gay male sex, however, only the homophobic men showed heightened penis arousal.

Heterosexual men with the most anti-gay attitudes, when asked, reported not being sexually aroused by gay male sex videos. But, their penises reported otherwise.

Homophobic men were the most sexually aroused by gay male sex acts.

Im not afraid to say that I might block NHA because of his avatar

But I did want to ask NHA, what is the point of your Avatar? Are you a fan of Michael Sams or his boyfriend? I dont see folks have avatars with a sports star and his wife kissing.
