You have to have a social security card in order to pay taxes on your waes in this country. These are assigned to you as a baby now before you ever leave the hospital. Just make it where once you are of voting age your picture is on it and then everyone who WAS eligible to vote would have an ID.

Many (perhaps most?) of those arguing vehemently in favor of voter ID laws because ELECTION INTEGRITY will argue vehemently AGAINST a national ID card, which is what you're advocating in this post.

Clinton just made a speech arguing SS cards should have pictures. Guess who got mad about that?

We should all do like Iowa where you can show up the day of and register, even without ID, and vote.

This still seems like a bit to much of a hurdle for poors and minorities. Not everyone has the ability to travel to the polling place. Why not just let folks phone the precinct captian, poll worker of thier choosing and have them cast the ballot. I mean this way fewer people will be denied thier right to vote. Yes we may have to provide a few phones here and there, but we could just expand the currant prgram.
