BBQ? I tried that place because it looked pretty good and it was. I drive 45 mins to get BBQ at this joint that puts out competition style BBQ via Nebraska...and won't settle for anything less here. Even better than Pappy's Smokehouse in St. Louis. Called "Pork on a Fork."

Salt Lick is on the agenda...so is Franklin BBQ...and those tiny little spots in the middle of nowhere where they serve you ribs, sausage, and brisket and roll it up in paper. DDT became ineffective (or less effective) against mosquitoes because mosquitoes developed resistance to it--just like they do to every other insecticide. DDT was never banned for use against malaria and is still used today in some areas.
