Thanks for the useless scientific info...

I'll be thinking about it when I am gnawing on my big texas beef rib at Baby Blues BBQ in Venice Beach, California next weekend.

Oh, that's right, if you don't agree with something it's obviously not a fact. Dumbass.

Again, I'll be thinking about that scientific fact when I am shoving this big texas beef rib in my face next weekend

What makes it a Texas rib, and why would you have to go to California to get it? Sounds to me like you're a sucker for dumb marketing.
04-11-2014 , 10:47 PM
Not a lot of malaria in the US AFAIK

Are you blind? Look at the picture...

Pretty difficult to have a solid 4 star yelp rating with over 1,400 reviews...

NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER ONLY SERVED IN NEW ENGLAND.

I wonder why the controversial uses of DDT and the general principle to be cautious with pollution is seen as a gotcha by silverman? You gotta have something to get a gotcha. Cynical rationalizing amounts to nada.

You didn't answer either question. I happen to know quite a bit about both TX BBQ and New England clam chowder, btw. You don't, of course, because you're exactly the kind of guy who raves about strip mall chain restaurants that sucker you in with a marketing campaign. There are a lot of people in the world who make good money selling mediocre crap to dunces like you, because you're too dumb to know the difference.

As Gambool has said, you ARE the riffraff, SM.

Hey man, when you got nothing and have been defending a bunch of outlaws hiding in patriot skin, brag.
04-11-2014 , 11:50 PM
Im not a vegetarian, but to dispute that the world environment would be better off if we didnt spend vast resources taking care of food animals takes a special kind of stupid.

oh my god you're bragging about eating imitation Texas BBQ

Saw it on Diners Drive-In's and Dives.......to answer your question.....

And to your second part...I might be a ****** when it comes to a lot of things, but to say I probably go to chain restaurants?!?!? That is the biggest insult of all, and that is where I draw the line.

I would literally rather not eat for 4 days straight than to even step foot in a restaurant like Chili's, TGIF, or even a place like In N out (most overrated crap on the planet)

Something like..........sushi? I will not touch that garbage unless it is from some place in LA where the sushi chef goes to the docks each morning to pick out the particular fish he will use that day and then give you whatever it is he serves.

BBQ? I tried that place because it looked pretty good and it was. I drive 45 mins to get BBQ at this joint that puts out competition style BBQ via Nebraska...and won't settle for anything less here. Even better than Pappy's Smokehouse in St. Louis. Called "Pork on a Fork."

And I haven't really been to Texas...but can promise you that the next time I am there... Salt Lick is on the agenda...so is Franklin BBQ...and those tiny little spots in the middle of nowhere where they serve you ribs, sausage, and brisket and roll it up in paper. I think one of them is in Lufkin or Lockhart? Have to look it up.

DDT became ineffective (or less effective) against mosquitoes because mosquitoes developed resistance to it--just like they do to every other insecticide. DDT was never banned for use against malaria and is still used today in some areas.

Tangents within tangents in this thread. Can we also stop debating DDT and get back to ridiculing the coming libertarian uprising?

The problem is this guy is a cattle rancher and not a peyote farmer. If he used the land for a liberal cause and the government wanted it for nuclear testing we all know the libtards itt would have a 180 degree different opinion on who has right to the land.

You dummy, that BBQ place you're raving about is a chain.

The Salt Lick is perfect for you. Small quantities of mediocre food served in a contrived atmosphere that convinces gullible people they're having some sort of quintessential Texas experience. You'll love it. Make sure you buy a tee-shirt on the way out.

You're gonna have to post pics of GA BBQ, brother. That is the rule of forum food battles.
