I'm sure none of the old people that get cards will die over the next thirty years, or suddenly become forgetful and lose their card or get better insurance and have no need for the cards

Heaven forbid we go single payer in the next 30 years. Then silver_complete_idiot_racist is totally ****ed.

Heck, I bet half the reason people go work for the gubmentt is so they can work 25 years and get that pension payment so the taxpayer can support them for the final 30 years of their life.

I essentially have the same mindset except I'll be able making probably 3 times as much as a typical gubment pension payment of a former public worker and accomplish it in 1/4 the amount of time. Oh........and I'll still be making that money while providing people with savings, while the former public employees do nothing while having the producers fund their retirement.
I don't care where the money is coming from. Making (maybe) $30k a year at your age isn't something you brag about, it's something you quietly refrain from mentioning in public. Pissing away that meager income in small stakes card rooms all day isn't a brag. Being an unproductive leech isn't a brag. Every single aspect of your sad life is pathetic.

Anyone reading your posts gets the impression you don't think it should be brought up.

You seem to have no idea of what you've written. Its almost like you write something stupid and immediately wipe it from your memory. You definitely act like it shouldn't have been brought up.

Quote:
I just thought it was weird that if racism is going to be a factor in this whole land deal, why nobody ever brought up Reid being a racist initially since he is on the other side.
Racism isn't a factor in the land deal. The Rancher just decided to share his racist thoughts now that he has an audience. His racism has nothing to do with anything yet he decided to let everyone know that this is further evidence that he's a horrible person. He's not just a criminal, he's a racist!

Quote:
You guys are all very much one sided when it comes to racism. If any high profile conservative said what Reid said about Obama, NONE of you would be making any of the excuses that you are now for Reid. That is just a plain ****ing fact.

Even Monkeybanaana, who generally seems pretty much a partisan hardliner like many of you says that it was pretty racist and is bending
Its amazing that you don't get that Reid is guilty of making a poor word choice in the context of complimenting Obama. In other words, its clear to everyone (that isn't an idiot) that the use of the word "negro" was a really poor word choice but that it wasn't a sign that he thought poorly of blacks because he was genuinely enthusiastic about Obama.

The difference between Reid and a lot of other gotcha's with Republicans is that Reid makes a poor word choice while strongly advocating for a black candidate. Everytime a Republican does it its while talking about how they think blacks are lazy or how the country was better off when they slaves.

The fact that you don't get this is mind-boggling.

I think there are plenty of lols to be had just in the simple fact that SM2 expects us to be as outraged about something that took place 6 years and that we already discussed to death said by someone whose only involvement in this story is from a phony chain email hoax as we are about the central figure of this story who said it yesterday.

Bundy is apparently even more of a nut than previously thought:
Quote:
The crowd, fresh off their victory at the Battle of Bunkerville, gives Bundy a standing ovation. But he doesn’t seem pleased. He reproaches the crowd for failing to follow the word of God – to the letter – which he says is being delivered through him. They failed, for example, to follow his instructions to tear down the toll booths at Lake Mead and disarm the Park Service.

"The message I gave to you all was a revelation that I received. And yet not one of you can seem to even quote it."
The rest of the article is equal parts hilarious and pitiful. It's like a SilverMan convention up there or something.

Bundy and his "militia" have been made emboldened by the BLM standing down. These crazy ****ers are going to keep pushing the limits till something gets out of hand. Bundy is old, he can see that he isn't long for this world. So he might as well rally the ******s and die as a martyr.

The government needs to put a lien on all his property at the local courthouse, so the local sheriff and his deputies will enforce it.

I was intrigued by the top sticker on that car, so I had to see what "Operation American Spring" is all about. Apparently in 3 short weeks the following is going to happen:
Quote:
Concept of Operations:
Phase 1 – Field millions, as many as ten million, patriots who will assemble in a peaceful, non-violent, physically unarmed (Spiritually/Constitutionally armed), display of unswerving loyalty to the US Constitution and against the incumbent government leadership, in Washington, D.C., with the mission to bring down the existing leadership. Go full-bore, no looking back, steadfast in the mission.

Phase 2 - One million or more of the assembled 10 million must be prepared to stay in D.C. as long as it takes to see Obama, Biden, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Pelosi, and Attorney General Holder removed from office. The senior republican in the US House of Representatives will become Speaker of the House and the US House of Representatives will elect a temporary President and Vice President of the United States. The U.S. Senate will take action to elect a new majority and minority leader.
As required, the U.S. Congress will execute appropriate legislation to convene new elections or U.S. States will appoint replacements for positions vacated consistent with established constitutional requirements.

Phase 3 – Those with the principles of a West, Cruz, Dr. Ben Carson, Lee, DeMint, Paul, Gov Walker, Sessions, Gowdy, Jordan, will comprise a tribunal and assume positions of authority to convene investigations, recommend appropriate charges against politicians and government employees to the new U.S. Attorney General appointed by the new President.
Phase 3 is pretty creepy, it sounds like some kind of Maoist purge. Those with the correct principles will pass judgement on those who have failed us so badly. I really had no idea circumstances are so dire we have to take these extreme measures or risk the utter destruction of our great nation. Waiting for, say, the next election cycle is just unthinkable.

I predict a few thousand people will show up and wave some signs for a few hours. Dr. Ben Carson will probably address the crowd. A great patriotic awakening will be said to have occurred and victory will be declared.

He's right about at the midpoint between Ted Cruz and Cliven Bundy.

He's actually an interesting character. Lately he just seems like a standard-issue right-wing bomb thrower (Obamacare is "the worst thing to happen to America since slavery", America is "very much like Nazi Germany", etc.), but he's obviously a well-educated and accomplished. Yale, noted neurosurgeon, Medal of Freedom, author of many books, etc. So he brings some intellectual heft to the table (at least compared to other recently prominent black conservatives like Herman Cain and Allen West).

It seems to me that he's sincere in his beliefs, which is admirable, but he has a pretty big ego. He wrote an autobiography called "Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story" when he was barely 40. That's pretty ballsy. So I think in the past few years he realized that if he keeps saying outrageous things he'll keep getting invited back to conservative media outlets and CPAC. He clearly likes all the attention.

Personally, I don't mind someone having a pretty big ego when they are well accomplished. Kobe has a pretty big ego, Tom Brady has a pretty big ego, but at the end of the day they have earned that right to have that pretty big ego. I don't care for those two players particularly, in part because they have big egos, but at the same time you can't really say anything negative towards that fact because they have earned it.

Obama on the other hand, has a big ego and LOVES the attention even more than Carson, yet he was a professional street agitator and lecturer.

So being the president of the most powerful nation in the world isn't desrving of some ego in your world?

I say your world because you're clearly not living in the same one as the rest of us.
04-27-2014 , 02:55 AM
Kobe-raped a women.
Brady - abandoned his gf and child.
Big egos okay.

Obama-elected leader of free world.
Not worthy of a big ego.

In a vacuum, sure I guess… I mean you are the POTUS. Point taken.

But Duker is flaming Carson for having a big ego, when the guy is 85 times more accomplished than Obama.

If Carson were to become president, you can bet your ass even Carson's most harshest critics wouldn't make fun of Carson for being an"emperor with no clothes" like critics of Obama say. Because it would make no sense to say that. With Obama, saying that has some significant merit.
04-27-2014 , 03:10 AM
It also makes no sense to call Obama an "emperor with no clothes."

Since a lot of BO critics are on the spectrum I don't see how that matters.

When the American Spring people say theyre looking for someone with the principles of Lee, are they referring to Robert E Lee?

And lol at saying a surgeon of any kind is more accomplished than POTUS. That's *the* accomplishment.

FYP

Of course he is more accomplished than the POTUS. The dude actually has a skill of which he incredible at doing, of which very very few people could ever do.

http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/neuro...min_carson.pdf

Just look at all this **** on his resume, its almost dizzying going through it all.

Just because Obama got ushered up to president from state rep in Illinois in a few short years because he is an amazing orator certainly doesn't make him more accomplished at all. And the POTUS is nothing more than a bought and paid for whore anyway. I think I'll go with the renowned brain surgeon over the former street agitator.

I don't think this is true. It was an more of an observation, offered as explanation of his recent behavior in the political arena. Compared to almost anybody else, I agree that Carson's achievements entitle him to a massive ego.

I don't think this is true either. But I'm not sure why you brought up Obama. What does he have to do with anything?

We've heard your "Obama is a street agitator" schtick before. Anytime somebody insults a black conservative, you stand ready with your defense, which invariably includes a comparison to the "whore" Obama.

Look, here you are 3 months ago going to bat for Herman Cain: "Cain's resume still makes Obama look like a ******ed school girl."

Then when kurto chewed you up and spit you out with this Magnum Opus, you mysteriously disappeared (seriously everybody needs to go read that post because it was that impressive).

If you want to make a argument that all 3 are equally impressive (Titan of Business, Titan of Medicine, Titan of Politics), that would at least be reasonable. I would disagree, but it would be reasonable. But to look at Obama's actual resume and come up with "******ed school girl" and "street agitator" is to expose yourself as a dishonest partisan.

If some Obama partisan entered the conversation with "Carson is nothing but a sadistic butcher who loves to cut up peoples brains" that would be exactly as worthless as your "street agitator" nonsense.
