I'm sorry you think Haidt's book was "bad", I'll have to read your review. I think it's likely that he knows a bit more than you about this subject though. As far as trying to narrow down a true definition of "SJW", I'm not going to be much help. It appears to have sprung out from the internet void in response to many similarly ill-defined terms you'll find on social justice tumbler or reddit. It means different things to different people, but seems to have congealed into a derogative, and attempts to salvage it are about as likely as alt right meaning anything but neofascist. Sometimes it's critics of a particular movement who end up defining the terms. So it goes.
