yes, clearly the planet is getting warmer and humans have had something to do with it.
i don't think we should sacrifice our economy to reduce the global temperature by .2 degrees. if we make huge monetary sacrifices it should actually reduce the temperature.
when you consider china and india aren't going to stop pumping out gasses any time soon, it's hard to justify a massive economic sacrifice for no benefit.
the most likely result to all of this is the boulder is already rolling downhill too fast and we will never stop it. coastline will move in and a lot of very valuable property will be destroyed. hopefully they buy flood insurance now. and hopefully the alarmists aren't right and we aren't all gonna die.
on the plus side, we will avoid an ice age, so that's pretty sweet. i think we could adapt to higher temperatures but an ice age would be GG life on earth.
