Although you missed the point. What the writer claims about themselves is of no relevance to chezzing or being PC.
General, you get away with this on a predominantly American forum, but remember: I'm from the UK too. I know you're a muppet here too.

Appealing to being from the uk only gets you so far. Even here most are sadly in the 'PC gone mad' crowd. It's a shame as in reality PC has been a very good thing.

Plus the bit you came up with about what people say about themselves was pure bilge as you must know.
08-09-2017 , 09:06 PM
Uh, Chez, it was you that brought up being in the UK. You do it all the time. You make this claim that over here you're not thought of as a rank apologist. And I'm confirming that people like myself think of you as a rank apologist. You run this forum in the way you've always argued: you believe that if people just get the phrasing right then their awful views are "politically correct" and therefore acceptable.
08-09-2017 , 09:13 PM
It's the UK PC movement I'm familiar with and they deserve the credit more than I do.

Yes I do think it's good to promote PC. It hasn't gone mad as you seem to think.
08-09-2017 , 09:16 PM
Where did I say it had gone mad, Chez?
08-09-2017 , 09:18 PM
You guys cling to your worst guesses about posters like cooperating women.

So you do think that getting people to be more PC is a good thing?
08-09-2017 , 09:27 PM
Not necessarily. It can be good to form inclusive language. It is not good to make what I referred to as "appeals to Chezness" where we get idiot memos in which, because the writer made all the appropriate linguistic caveats, people think they can no longer be called "sexist" or "racist" etc.

I know that always and forever you'll claim you're only doing the former. But we all see your work. We know that you're happy to let the same tireless drivel go along provided it avoids the no-no terms.
08-09-2017 , 09:32 PM
You can call the memo sexist or racist all you like. What are blithering about?

But I'm pleased if in fact we do agree that being PC is a good thing

I think the problem is that YOU want to call people sexist or racist, regardless of whether they are or not, just to feed your moral superiority ego. Disingenuous moron.

I'll take Carlin over PC any day:

Carlin would hate trump and would say trump is a racist. He also hated conservatism which makes sense since it put him in jail. For words.

Hijacking Carlin for your dumb stereotyping spew. Weakling. You probably are sexist and/or racist, aggressively. It befits the kind of weakness of mind you present to have done either and do nothing about it.

I doubt it. I know you won't listen to the videos, but he's directly calling out liberals - even back then.

That's great.

It starts with an earthquake,

Birds and snakes,

An aeroplane.

Lenny Bruce was not afraid.

Seriously can jiggy be this stupid or is this some kind of genius level?

No **** he did not like either. Never said he liked dems.

Kind of doubt you have seen more of him then me if you think he would like trump or conservatism.

I don't know but it's what makes this forum endlessly fascinating.

Lol I posted this just the other day:

See, trump doesn't horrify me. The JiggyMacs of the world do.

L. Bruce said the so-called n-word, like, a lot, so he couldn't be a Jiggly name-drop. In fact, he's probably a Real Racist(tm).

With any luck Carlin will help Jiggy set SJWs free!!!!!!

Because he would have loved Hillary, right?

He would have hated both - at least he might have been entertained by Trump.

No. If i had to guess he would of said what i posted.

I do think after trump took office he would of changed his mind since trump puts all other presidents in perspective.

No. He would see him as a dim massively insecure crazy man who puts the world in danger and someone who destroys things important to him. Like helping the poor.

Accept for he views on words and PC culture he would be a commie sjw if he posted here.

Well, he is kind of a conspiracy theorist.

To be fair, Trump does at times sound just as anti-Politician as Carlin. I doubt you listened to Trump's inauguration address though.

Let me ask - what would Carlin think of unelected Corporate Overmasters thought policing the Internet?
