Sherman came off so bitter and insecure in that interview. I don't know how you can say he crushed Bayless in the interview. All he said was "I'm better than you at life."

Which is basically on the same childish level as replying to someone criticizing you by saying "Ya? Well I banged your mom."

Not saying Sherman isn't smart, but those are mental midget type responses he gave in that interview.

IIRC, the majority of posts in SE when the Bayless/Sherman interview went down were indeed lol'ing at Sherman, so 'crushed' is probably a fringe position, at least as it relates to SE posters.

I like the dude to a point. He could be less egocentric in his interviews. But lighting up Skip Bayliss is probably the greatest sports related talk show thing I have seen this year.

I can see how that point of view would make sense for someone in SE. They would likely be a general watcher of shows like this and not see Bayless as being a giant tool the way I do. Sherman's response is only appropriate to someone behaving like a giant tool to you.

People like AlexM rarely if ever say the black dude was wrong or sounded bad, because he is black, especially when it is a white dude and a black dude in dispute.

Sherman sounded like the butthurt tool in that interview. All he did was personally attack Skip and stayed away from Skip's questions.

You switch the races around in that interview with the same dialogue, I'm saying the exact same thing about the person being interviewed. But people like AlexM would switch it around in most instances.

Are discussions about race somehow taboo now? Of course racists are going to be racists. Cultural issues, in my view, often go hand in hand with discussions of race. We are seeing that in this thread.
