The funny thing is I was discussing these results with some friends and they said "see, most Muslims dont supports honor killings etc." I have a feeling that if 40% or whatever of American Christians supported killings converts they wouldn't say "see, Christianity doesnt have any problems with religious freedoms."

One interesting thing is how moderate those in former communist countries are compared to others. I guess these decades of forced secularization were good for something. However, even the populations in those countries hold views that wpuld be seen as extremely regressive by anyone in the West.

You are right, the pew results I linked say nothing about Muslims in the west. It wouldn't surprise me if they were significantly more liberal than their counterparts in "the Muslim world."

Yet, the point that Islamophobes intentionally fail to mention is that this number is less–far less in this case–than the general public (including Jews and Christians). So while it’s absolutely atrocious that 21% of Muslim-Americans would think so, more than twice that percentage of Jewish- and Christian-Americans think so! This fact “steals their (the Islamophobes’) thunder,” so to speak.

Muslims are easily the most charitable people on this planet. at the very least all muslims are required to pay at least 2.5% of the wealth to tax. usually between 2.5-10%. this is known as Zakat and is compulsory. there are many more types of charity such as Sadaqah, Lilah, Qurbani that many muslims give to.
