We have video coverage and we have accounts of what happened.
Believe what you wish. I can't force you to see what you don't wish to. We disagree.
You're not disagreeing with me, wil, you're disagreeing with Oath Keepers spokesman Stewart Rhodes, who said:-
We did not do a call out for the monument rally since we needed our guys focused on the ACT for America marches, given the very real threat of jihadist terrorism against them. But we do oppose the removal of any of the public statues and monuments under attack by the Marxist left.
Since we didn't do a call to action for that monument rally, I don't know if any of our members went. I'll check with the Texas chapter, but it may well be that the group you are calling Oath Keepers are in fact some other group.
You god damn dishonest mother ****er, there were multiple right wing militias there armed with assault rifles and body armor.
SHOW ME THE VIOLENT LEFTISTS WITH ASSAULT RIFLES AND BODY ARMOR YOU ****ING LIAR
As founding member of Wil's ignore list, I welcome you to our club. Newest member buys the snacks at meetings.
What you discovered here is Wil's problem: Wil doesn't have arguments, he has a disarray of thoughts that are contained only to that post at the time of posting. When you keep asking Wil to focus on a single point, this enrages the Wil as his only consistency comes from his anger in response to any signs of empathy in others.
A charitable interpretation of the armed militia members being at the rally is that they were there to prevent either side from suppressing the free speech of the other side. From what I have read they had already left the area (at the request of the local police and national guard) when the fatal incident took place.
In any event, nobody should advocate, support, or condone the violence experienced at the rally. Especially the irresponsible neo-nazi nutjob who used his car like a battering ram into a crowd of counter-protesters and caused one death and numerous injuries.
Mother ****er, there were multiple right wing groups there armed to the teeth. Look at this:
One of the right wingers drove through a crowd of people, killing someone, and you have the ****ing audacity to say they were there for peace, and leftists went down there to cause violence. **** you wil.
I find it pretty amazing how quickly the "peaceful" protesters were able to find the baseball bats they used on the vehicle that plowed into them.
I've never said slavery wasn't big industry. The statement that American Exceptionalism was built on slavery implies that America benefited from the institution as a whole. Which is not true, demonstrability. The states that had slavery fell behind. The US fought a ruinously expensive war to end slavery and came out richer within a decade.
Its not true within the US and definitely not true elsewhere. Slavery keeps the elite in power and keeps them rich, it doesn't build countries. Slavery disincentives mechanization and wage labour. Countries that practice slavery fall behind.
America did not get rich as a whole off of slavery and didn't become a superpower off of slavery and linking me articles about how big an industry slavery was doesn't prove anything
Im not surprised if there are two armed groups you pick the white supremacists and Nazis to be an apologist for.
I'm responding to the false statement made by Cow that they were peacefull protesters. There are rumors that George Soros bussed in paid antifa and hired actors to play nazis to make it look worse than it was. I think it's time Soros gets investigated. If this is true, he is inciting violence.
Stop with the apologist nonsense. your narrow mindedness is keeping you from seeing an otherwise beautiful world.
